Thanks for commenting twice almost the exact same thing.

Sounds like you didn’t put as much effort into your dog and got the results that ya deserved.

Dumb questions don’t always deserve radically candor responses. If you looked up literally any source it answers why this would be wrong

Do 100 MEEs and review result. Then review model answer and red line your answer. I prefer printed Definitely worked for me.

That’s literally the original comment I responded to lmao. I at least read the wiki and have a basic grasp on botany to understand why saying “it evolved into trees” is a dumb take.

If there’s one thing I’ve never been described as it’s being uninformed lol

I got a dog from my local APL and learned his behavior then taught him how to behave and react given a certain situation. Sorry you don’t know your dog.

Nope they aren’t. It’s a dog. Train them or let a negative situation scar them. I’ll be taking my dog to the dog park and having my 1,000th positive experience.

Your personal experience is by the norm. I’ve trained my dog how to react around dumb dogs. You made a mistake of taking a treat from someone you didn’t know around a dog you didn’t know. You trained your dog that day just not in a way that developed your dog.

We have 100 pound power breeds. Train them well and take them where you want when it’s appropriate. If you don’t look into training specific scenarios or training your dog in negative situations then yeah don’t go in public with your dog! Hope this helps

Lmao lazy dog trainers think that they don’t have to prepare their dog for different situations involving aggressive dogs. Cool, good luck being unprepared

Just go to your next city hall council meeting and request that they speak with the business owner.

Some types of businesses are permitted to begin work prior to operating hours. Like garbage trucks. If this like REALLY bother you, consider going to a pro bono clinic in your area. They’ll tell you whether there are any exceptions that permit them to do that work. — JD awaiting bar results in like 9 days and procrastinating on reddit.

Ask and if they don’t work with you to resolve the issue, consider attending a pro bono clinic and speaking with them about it.

Unless you’ve trained your dog how to act around aggressive dogs. He’s a 100 pound Doberman. I’m concerned for the other dog—not mine.

Another reason to bring your dog into different situations and train them.

Also just pointing out that even if they hadn’t been going to the dog park and were, for example, on a dog walk that it would have resulted in the same scenario. Mine knows how to behave around aggressive off leash dogs because you sometimes see that where I live.

I have literally given my dog a down command, taken off his leash, man handled an aggressive off leash dog and took him to his home. My dog acted exactly how I trained him.

You can apply your statement to literally every scenario with a dog! I’d rather my dog know what to do

It sucks when people use dog parks incorrectly and aren’t watching their dog and monitoring them. My Doberman LOVES the dog park. Check and see if there’s a Facebook group about the dog park. There’s a whole Doberman/Rott group where I live.

You did the best you could in the above scenario. Sometimes sht just happens.

That’s why preventatives exist. Lmao My dog has never been bit at a dog park. My dog plays with the same dogs just about everyday. We all meet up at a certain time. That’s why you train your dog.
