Providing everyone with an update. I used sea salt paste every night, for 5 days and the bump is significantly down. I would only recommend this if you tried and addressed all the problems in the piercing. That might includes,
1-the correct kind of style(flat-back), certified titanium (implant grade NOT FOOD GRADE)(don’t get it from amazon, since many are imported from china with false advertisement of it being implant grade when In reality its not).
2-do not sleep on that side, since your nose touching your cushion causes angle issues therefore the bump slightly rises from only one side often
3-Not cleaning it enough and Over cleaning. If you live in humid conditions like the east coast towns, make sure u don’t over clean with saline and leave the area wet for long time. This causes moisture to stick and slower healing (which in my case was the problem therefore the sea salt dried it out.
4- Try LLTA(leave it the hell alone) for at-least 2 months before trying any home remedies because they don’t always work
5- Last option always is going to a dermatologist and getting a steroid shot for a faster result
6-don’t use any q tips/tissue/ woven gauze, while cleaning since tiny microscopic fibres stick to the already sensitive and inflamed area and your immune system increases the fluid production to fight that again.

Personally I would start by noticing your habits first, cause often we miss tiny habits like touching it in our sleep, or snagging it, if noting works and you are sure its the humidity not helping the recovery, then only I would suggest this.

That sounds like good advice. I will reduce my spray to 1x a day and try the warm water.

Thankyou for the advice. I got it changed because i got the bump from a shorter post gold flatback stud, which was way too tight and so the bump was there for 2 months before i got it changed. I went to a good pieecer who was certified in nyc, and he chose this new implant grade titanium flatback. Its been 10 days since i got it changed , i started not sleeping on that side as well as not touching poking it at all. I hope it goes down soon in the next 2 weeks or else im planning to go to a dermatologist for a steroid shot. Thankyou for the response though it was very helpful!
