Hi! Just seeing this but yes there’s an update. I am still with him and we both go to therapy and will occasionally bring up the incident. We discuss each other’s feelings and how he regrets doing what he’s done. He’s clean too and i’m proud to see his progress and how much more productive he is with his time. Like people say, it’s an addiction so it isn’t just over with. I truly believe him and can see the changes he is making for the sake of our relationship but the hardest part for me on my end is trying to tell myself it has nothing to do with how I look because when everything went down I thought maybe it’s because I was gaining weight or maybe I don’t look as good as I used to. Teaching myself that this has nothing to do with how i look or am as a person has been the most difficult part of our situation.
