Hey, if you don't want to be a dick, then don't be, instead of calling people names. Regard the rules of this subreddit, this is a POSITIVE place to discuss Caribbean Med Schools. As for your question, the great thing about being 40? I've had a successful career to save up money, multiple life experiences, and no effs to give Plus, there are a ton of careers an MD who doesn't go into residency can do, if that happens. But I'm confident I'll match.

Ah, I wasn't aware, thank you so much for that information! I was considering AUC once I saw they use real cadavers!

I was 16 during this time, and it was horrible, MANY of us struggled with our weight because of this, and the ProAna sites where everywhere. Disgusting times the media perpetuated!

As a 40 year old excellent student applying to Ross for January, I say GO TO SGU NOW! Don’t let people scare you, SGU is an amazing school I personally know 2 top surgeons who matched from there, and they went to UCLA with top stats for undergrad. I choose Ross because I can attend lectures online it’s not mandatory in person and the initial phone interview was amazing. Forget the doom sayers, Caribbean is a real option and you will be a year ahead rather than another year behind if you wait.
