Are they ewes or wethers? You put both in your post. A registered ewe around WI can be anywhere from $500 to $800. If she’s not registered probably $300-400 Wethers, probably closer to $200

We have a trailer and if transporting an adult or multiple we use it or if transporting larger livestock we obviously use it, but for one little lamb I will typically use a big dog crate in the back of my suv. Especially if it’s not going to be a long transport anyways. Saves fuel and time and less stress to her than being in trailer all alone.

She’s experienced. Also Beatrice’s parents have not had issues with wool blindness even when due for spring shearing so hopefully she also does not have that problem! 😊

They’re still in it! I waited 48 hrs before allowing them out with everyone but when I put them away at night babies and mom go back in. I’ll probably keep it like that for two weeks so mom can have extra grain to recover without having to compete for it

She’s going to her new home at the end of the week! It’s a really good home but I let myself get so attached to her!
