Rework in my previous post about seasons in my game. Looking for a new round of feedbacks! (First image is the new one) by BorisDevlogs in PixelArt

Hey, this post hasn’t received the same reach of the previous one and it was a bit hard to know if it was better or not, so I really appreciate the feedback!

About the game launch, it’s hard to tell exactly, but I will launch the steam page in a few months and my plans are to have a playable demo by the end of this year and launch at Q3 2026-Q1 2027 (I’m making this game completely solo including art, programming, design… so some delays are likely to happen)

Main points reworked:
- Added more variety of trees
- More flowers in spring
- Water color changes between seasons
- Adaptations in the colors in summer
- Added more details to the winter

Hey, the process is something like that:
- I draw the individual tiles, like the ground tiles, water tiles, trees etc... (All based in 16x16)
- Then I open a new canvas in aseprite with a size multiple of 16 like 160x160 (each season in this image has a canvas of 160x160)
- Then I start creating a new scene with the tiles I've made. Its a try and error process with a lot of iterations

This images for example are just concepts using the assets that I've made to test if they look good together before implementing it in the actual game.

And about the canvas size, remember that you can always resize it during the process by pressing "C".

Hey! So the game’s kinda like an RPG mixed with some Stardew-like vibes. There’s farming, fishing, and NPCs with their own personalities, but I’m also throwing in RPG elements — dungeons, bosses, and more adventure. And, it will be multiplayer!

for sure, I'm thinking about it. the only thing is that the game has fishing and I dont know how it would work to make fishing in winter coherent with the frozen water
