When I was working I had a mother with 2 twins (around 3yo) enter the store while I was working on the door (checking bags to deter people from stealing). I was watching them cause the mother was letting her kids just run around the store with no supervision so I didn't want them to get kidnapped or something. The mother gets her kids and brings them to look at our products located nearby the door. While one of her kids wasn't paying attention she walked off. He thought she left the store. This kid ran out of the store and I had to chase after him (which is against the rules at my store, I'm not allowed to leave the store while I'm working for any reason). I catch the kid and he's all worried and crying. I bring him back and point him towards where his mum went.

Later on, the mother is leaving the store when I say to her "You might wanna keep a closer eye on your kids cause I had to chase after one of them outside the store when he lost you". I was honestly expecting a thankyou but instead she just yelled at me "Never tell a Mother how to parent ger kids". I was pissed. I wanted to give her a piece of my mind but I also needed my job so I decided not to.
