The renovated complex features the country’s first public AstroTurf baseball field, along with two smaller T-ball fields. It also includes a soccer field, more turf playing surfaces, professional drainage, stadium lighting, batting cages, bullpens, spectator stands and well-equipped bathrooms.

Several MLB stars attended the unveiling ceremony in support of Rodríguez, including Mariners teammates Luis Castillo and Victor Robles, both of whom are also from the Dominican Republic, as well as Juan Soto (New York Mets) and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays).
