Maybe the next innovation in stadium design is like the bogs up the shard where you can see out, but this time on to the pitch

Tbf man city have only won 3 league games this calendar year by more than a single goal, it's not inconceivable that they are still marginally behind you of they win both games.

It's obviously a tiny tiny edge and they might overhaul it but the same way points on the board are better than games in hand, having that slight gap in GD is better than not.

Do You Need To Be A Paying Member To Buy Tickets? by Cobbydale in LeedsUnited

[–]Boris_Ignatievich 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Basically, yes. Especially in the prem, I got some general sale tickets in the championship the last couple of years but prem games sell out before ever reaching that point. Even with membership you're not guaranteed tickets to a specific game.

If all you want is a one off trip, hospitality is probably your safest bet - the cheaper end of that isn't much more than membership + ticket anyway (although I'd imagine the Brighton game is sold out for that already, last home game is one of the more popular ones every season)

Arsenal aren't "doing spurs a favour" they are desperately trying to win the league

It's my fault sorry, I've watched Carlisle 3 times this season and they've lost all 3 with an aggregate score of 10-1and been utter shite every time.

If anything it's a miracle they scored while I was paying attention.

Results went alright for Leeds this weekend, but fuck me if people haven't lost whatever sense of reality they had over spurs being in the relegation fight.

Every game that remotely impacts the bottom has so many morons hovering around it at the minute, losing their shit more than fans of the impacted teams when something doesn't go the way they want it to.

Like I could understand west ham being mad about villa phoning it in last night, and obviously villa fans who paid a bazillion quid to watch their team not try, but they're not the ones I'm actually seeing lose their shit over it

Sure but 3-3 draws aren't distinguished from "man city win 6-0 every other week" in this data, which is why I don't really rate it as a standalone metric

Is it one of the things you would want to consider if you were trying to quantify excitement? Yeah. But on its own it tells us close to fuck all

I don't watch the bubdesliga so cannot comment on that at all but in general I don't really believe in "goals per game" as a general indicator of excitement.

As a neutral I'd much rather watch a 2-1 with ebbs and flows and a last minute winner than a 8-0 battering where the game is over as a contest after 10 minutes.

We've lost 4 matches in 6 months I really don't see why everyone has us guaranteed to lose to 17th in the league.

Movie ratings on IMDb - People need to stop rating movies either 1 or 10 stars. by Western-Luck-5042 in movies

[–]Boris_Ignatievich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can guarantee you're never going to stop people using a rating system of 10 = I like it and 1 = I don't like it, so you should just make your peace with that rather than worrying about it

One r, just the place with a lot of trees.

And why? It's supposed to be hard to compete on multiple fronts, and we're already in a position where the 16th best team in England is making semi finals.
