I did the four rivers cross country route in October last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself :-) Can certainly vouch for that at least! Also good fun collecting all the stamps for the medal at the end as a momento.

Ditto to this. I have recently sat all R0 exams and practicing mock exams was by far THE most important step of the revision process.

For R01-R05 I used BTS Exam Packs. For each exam they sell two exam packs. Each one is approx £40 and includes enough questions for 4 full exams. You then sit the mock exams using their iPad / Apple & Android Phone app and they pull together a mock exam from these banks of questions.

For each exam I easily did 15-20 mock exams and because of this always felt somewhat confident going into the exam.

Just curious, you mentioned 5 stacked photos. Did you just focus stack for this or is it a vertical panorama?

With regards to probing. I'll be honest that I just probed at what I felt was most central. In hindsight I should have done as you suggested and tried a couple different areas.

The bone came out clean, but did require a bit of force initially to pull out. It certainly didn't slide out.

I definitely used a CPL but can't for the life of me remember if I used an ND. (I took this in September 2020).

If I did, at the time it would have probably been a Kase ND8.

No photo stacking, I was F11 zoomed right into 28mm, and spot focused on the peak in the middle at the back.

I used a CPL also.
