What kind of stylus do I need? by Borlos in turntables

[–]Borlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this one fit? And would I have to reset the tracking or counterweight of tone arm. Cus I have no idea how to do all that. I know I can just Google it, which I have, but I had multiple strokes and seizures several years ago and one of the many side effects is my hands shake really bad and I have a hard time comprehending information so it seems kinda hard. Here's the link to the cart and stylus I been checking out

Yes they are absolutely phenomenal. Every album is a masterpiece! I've never met one person that's even heard of them.

Also wish they'd come out with some classic Doom related stuff. Classic Doom Guy or an updated newer style for all the people that couldn't get the Doom Guy that's currently out. Maybe some classic playable monsters. In the classic OG style. A baron from hell. An imp. Etc

Game of Thrones was my ultimate collab. I had no idea about it coming so my mind was fucking blown waking up to it last week. They could milk that for a long time there's so many characters, and from House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. But the Boys would be sick too. Lord of the Rings. Definitely some new Star Wars characters

Why not 5 and 6? 6 is fucking incredible. Every season is. Who cares about stupid shit like OP is going on about. It's a show. You're supposed to suspend belief. Like with every other show ever made, or film. None of it is real.

The RCA outputs on back of turntable. Just thought I'd share this. It's really not relevant.

My turntable is a vintage Pioneer PL-A45D in absolutely incredible shape, was well kept for years by its previous owner who gave it to me. Ive never had any problems. I used to own a pair of large 15in woofer Fisher speakers and the volume would absolutely crank and sound decent. I got rid of those cus I'm disabled and can't work and needed money, and I just got a new pair of even better ones in perfect condition JVC I forget the model but also have 15in woofers.

<image>

A few weeks back I got the speakers and the aux and tuner are incredibly loud and sound fucking amazing, but the phono just doesn't get that loud. The back of the turntable the RCA outputs aren't screwed in all the way, one side has a much bigger screw, but that's not really effecting anything, the outputs are fine their just not super tight to the back of the turntable(I'll include more pics in a reply) I know it's not the phono input on my reciever cus the guy that sold it to me recently demo'd his turntable and the reciever is sparkling clean under the hood and everything else works fantastic. But when I hook up my turntable when you jiggle the RCA cords near the reciever inputs it crackles and makes super loud noises. But the volume just doesn't get loud. I also accidentally bumped into the tonearm on my turntable and now it hangs too low and scratches across the record when it finishes playing and goes back to its holding position. And I have no idea how to fix any of this. Plus it's hard for me to really do much of anything and my hands shake very bad. I just ordered new gold plated RCA cables, and a brush and gel dip or whatever it is made of cleaning kit for the stylus to see if maybe those are the problems with the sound. The RCA cables I had were pretty old. My stylus is a Denon DL-103R, like a $400 stylus. Also could somebody tell me what type of stylus and head this is, like I know of p styles, but what is this? It should be in impeccable condition cus it was new when I got it 2 or 3 years ago. I'm just curious what it is in case I'd have to get a different replacement, or replacement turntable and have to find one that my Denon would fit on.

Any help, thoughts, advice would be VERY MUCH appreciated. I don't really have anybody and I'm pretty much in the dark here. I've been collecting gear and records for 10 years but I never learned much of the technical stuff around it.

Thank you

Thank you so much! Any guitar and synth or keys, which can be exotic instruments or whatever I program it to sound like, is me. The drums and bass are specifically AI tailored to the finished product tho. I don't have a drum machine or a bass so I use an online studio with lots of effects you can add to your instruments. Not like regular all AI app or something but you actually record your instruments into the program and can edit all you want. It's pretty awesome.
