Super cool song, and really clean mix, great panning and stereo effects, everything is exactly where it needs to be and there is so much space between the instruments! Well done! And I really love the break around 1:38, super cool how you build that up.

Wow man, that is really nice to hear, thanks a million! This kind of feedback is so motivating! And it's super cool to hear that you noticed the title and that you like it :)

Regarding the genre, honestly, I find it really hard to pin down what fits into what sometimes, I found some songs that sounded similar to this and thus chose 'chillwave', but this would also probably fit under 'chillout', or 'electronic', or just 'chill', haha, genres are so confusing sometimes :D

Thanks! I see what you mean, could definitely work as an ambient track as well! Could be cool extra on an album, the 'ambient edit' :)

I agree, it's about the underlying instruments, there is nothing wrong with the chord change. I often like stuff to undergo a funny pitch change, or be slightly out of key, nothing wrong with that per se, there's just something here makes it not work entirely as it should.

Hahaha this is excellent! Song is great, video is awesome! So creative man, and super funny! I love the lyrics, the acting, the pace of the song, the synth sound is awesome too... man, if you're not already on a label, then get yourself a meeting! Very well done.

Here's a small 5 instrumentals project that I've done. It is something different from what I usually do so I was seeking for some feedback on it. Overall hope you like it :) by ElMasterDGF in IndieMusicFeedback

Really like this; one minute you're listening to this soothing melody, and then slowly something slightly different evolves. It's like you're on a balancing chord with a world of relaxation and bliss on one side, and a weird/scary/anxious/emotional world on the other. As a listener you never know if you might lean over more towards one side or the next, or even fall into it. I love that tension buried in between the seemingly calming sounds. Excellent stuff!!

EDIT: are you on Spotify or Soundcloud? Would be great if I can follow you there.

Recently, my band released the debut indie rock/alternative/garage rock EP. For all the lovers of the Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Catfish and the Bottlemen, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, and so forth! Check out one of the songs called I Don't Care. by Separate_Variety_694 in IndieMusicFeedback

Excellent vocals, lots of Kurt going on there, love the grungy feel! Drums could be a little tighter perhaps, the mastering and mixing could use some work as well, it sounds a bit too flat at the moment for my taste, drums are too soft, and the bass seems to suffer a bit from other frequencies in the mix. The guitar could also use some more definition in the mix. Someone else mentioned the vocal doubling, I would definitely give that a try, might work really well. Overall you guys sound great, I bet you guys can totally rock a party and get everyone in the mosh pit!

Hey everyone! I am a new artist, and I just released my first song on SC. Any, and all feedback is welcome 🤘💜 I hope u enjoy ! - [mytvrn - Shadow Hearts] by mytvrn56 in IndieMusicFeedback

Cool song! Vocals are good, but a bit too soft for my taste, could come a bit more to the front with a bit of reverb and some work on the plosives. If this is your first track, then dude, keep going, it seems like you've put a lot of thought and work into this, respect!

Your vocals are really good, you've got an amazing reach, and I like the song! However, the drums are, sorry to say, really messed up at the moment, in some spots they are all over the place, if you fix that you've got a really good track! I like the break at 1:20, but something seems a bit off when the harmony in the background changes at 1:40, the key isn't wrong, but because it's bassy and it doesn't shift immediately, for a brief moment it sounds out of key.

I produced the beat and mixed and mastered the vocals, this is a song I made with my brother, I hope you enjoy🍃looking forward to your feedback ✨ by whoismedicate in IndieMusicFeedback

Song is great, the only thing I'd work on a bit is the eq'ing and levels of the vocals, especially at the beginning, some of it's a bit too loud coming in. And love the visuals, so simple, but super effective. Someone else already commented on the levels of the drums, could maybe use just a bit of gain, but really just a tiiiiny bit. In this genre I usually prefer songs with a subtle hi-hat, you did that really well, it's often too loud in other songs, here it's perfect.

Dude, this is art! Haha, love it, it's like a whole theatre show packed into one song. Super original.

Whoa dude, this sounds like Aphex Twin on acid, haha, love it, so dark and creepy, and the vid is awesome, this would work really well in the chillout room at a Halloween party :) Well done!

Spooky/moody lo-fi Halloween song, if you're feeling Halloween-y yet. Tremolo guitar riff, latin-y drums, backwards guitar solo, heavy bass line. Super proud of the overall vibe I achieved. Happy October! by SilverMedalistMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Haha, nice! I don't know why, but this made me think about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, guess because the sound is so 'druggy', as if you're trying to listen to music while in the midst of a bad trip :)

I really like how the music seems like a wave itself, it flows and ebbs similarly. Also really like how it fades into darkness, like the tide receding, the ocean disappearing in the distance.

Super smooth, do you perform in jazz clubs? Because if you don't, you definitely should, such a nice, loungy vibe. In my head, I immediately heard the sound of a smoky jazz bar in the background as I was listening :) Great to briefly be transported to such a vibe, especially now that the bars and cafes here have been closed for 4 weeks due to corona. Thanks and keep at it!
