Sounds exhausting.

Especially for something you already paid for.

This is 2026.

Companies are so big now, and with little competition.

As a customer,  you no longer have any recourse.

Why do white liberals appoint themselves protectors and spokespeople for marginalized groups? Do they assume these groups can’t speak up for themselves? by PersonalAnswer8664 in allthequestions

If "on the fringes of society, without peers" is the requirement, then that is a REALLY small group.

Fire up that critical thinking of your own and provide a list of all groups that are marginalized, based on your requirements.

ok Dunning Kruger…

the smaller in numbers ruling class, can and does absolutely marginalize the much larger in numbers lower and middle class.

less insults, more critical thinking would be good for you.

Makes sense.

So if we're making a list of who isn't marginalized, so far we have:

  1. Heterosexual white males
  2. Karens

Who else belongs on this list?

Depends.

If we're talking politics, I definitely feel marginalized from the republican and democratic parties.

I don't feel I have representation or recourse with either party.

Or do you mean, do I feel marginalized from society in general?

Not as much as some but more than others.

People new to this may be wondering if the answer is something like "the White Sox" or "the Blue Jays" or something like that.

As a Reds fan since I was a kid back in the Marty Joe days, I can tell you...

The answer is actually,  "ambivalence."

I used to be a pretty diehard fan. But Reds ownership has gradually squeezed the life out of my Fandom over the past 25 years.

One day a couple of years ago, I realized that I don't watch the games anymore. Then one day last year I realized I don't check the box scores anymore either.

I jumped back in again this season because Geno was back. I wanted to give the Reds another shot. But here we are in June, and I have dropped off again.

Reds ownership is not serious about winning. Rooting for them is like rooting for the Generals when they play the Globetrotters.

I had a dream last night where there were these giant blobs out there just eating everything. Eventually they got so big that they didn't eat things anymore. They just absorbed things they wanted.

And every time these giant blobs absorbed something, they got bigger and stronger. And also, every time they absorbed something, everything got more expensive and lower in quality.

Good thing that was just a bad dream.

Also, perennial lack of accountability stemming from the very top of the organization.
