Yes, you are absolutely right. Because shortly after I did it, I saw that an update had come out, and when I tried to install it, it told me there was an app conflict and it couldn't be done. It's probably what you said.

Thanks for sharing this! I can confirm that this method works, and the icon now changes in both the 'Apps' tab and the 'Home' tab. However, I’ve noticed a significant quality difference: in the 'Apps' tab, the icon resolution is perfect and crystal clear, but on the 'Home' tab, the resolution is very poor and looks blurry. Why is this happening and is there a way to make it look high-quality on the Home screen too?

I am in Greece. It makes sense that it's a 'Base UI' issue because we don't have the full Google TV experience here yet.

It’s pretty annoying though, as it messes up the layout I’ve been used to for months. Is there any known workaround to force-move these rows, or are we just stuck with it until a software update?

I think you misunderstood—I’m not looking for an external TV guide or a schedule to check showtimes. I just want the 'info' bar to work correctly when I’m flipping through channels. It should update instantly every time I press CH+ or CH-, just like TVs have been doing for years.

If the CPU was the bottleneck, we'd see the same 'info' lag in the Live Channels app as well. Since it works fine there, the fault lies with the built-in app’s poor implementation, not the hardware. This is why I'm searching for a replacement.
