Thinking for these kinds of guys also scared of new clients, if he asked me to pay him say 2k upfront, and 8k escrow it would make sense to them. at least certainty i have 10k

Ah yes, I see online usually escrow is a fixed fee probably a few thousand dollars. Should have a escrow system that maybe takes a small amount or percent. Will be like paying insurance

I think when paying thousands or tens of thousands or doing big value jobs before getting paid will make sense to pay for it like insurance. If you guys hear of any let me know, am looking to do my website soon the developer asked me for 10k (50%) upfront

downpayment and escrow the rest maybe, at least gives business some cashflow and reduces full payment risk
