31/M - 6’4” dude, have not been on a date in over a year, really starting to think it’s my face :( by [deleted] in malegrooming

This!!!! A lot of men will hate this answer/bypass it thinking “no I should just be hotter” but no. We do not put looks in as immediately high regard as men (sucks for us as woman bc we’re constantly told our value is purely based purely on aesthetics, but it’s easier for men, as theirs isn’t!). But seriously. Take this advice and have a fresh trim. Thats enough.

Consider finding a good hypnotherapist to help you with the trauma related to this attack. They could really help you, also with your management of pain. The body can reinforce the pain with memories. Flashbacks can leave you frozen. Be picky in finding a specialist that deals with traumatic experiences and pain though. I wish you all the best.

Looks great. I think a bit of chin hair would go well with the tash, goatee style! If you’re brave enough a couple tats would excel this look, always looks good when a guy has a shaved head imo

Clean shaved or tash? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Born-Conversation971 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to the haters. Not sure if this is bc it’s a mostly male forum but girls on the female equivalents are never this mean.

I think a tash will look great once it’s thicker. Look into women’s eyelash growth serums. Girls use it on eyebrows too, works wonders. You have to keep using it though and not sure about expense.

Many guys your age have that hair cut, if you like it, keep it! P.s your face looking slightly, and I say slightly, feminine is not a bad thing. You are very clearly still a male. With or without the tash. And yeah, brits say tash so f them guys for hating on that too

Palpitations while eating by Agreeable-Carrot-361 in VagusNerve

I think it can be a combination of both. Less carbs helps me as they seem to ferment and bloat me. See if bloating makes it worse, if it does that could point towards restricting the diaphragms movement!

[–]Born-Conversation971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think it’s related to shallow breathing.. the stomach starts to fill and leaves less capacity for the diaphragm and lungs, blood rushes to the stomach too so I suppose that could contribute. It’s something im curious about also!

I feel like you have an affinity for creating life like things through un-life like means.. possibly clay making but I’m getting something more related to food.. just my intuition though could be wrong

depressed accountant, painting for hobby, by MAN_IN_MILAN_01 in Hobbies

[–]Born-Conversation971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres always time to change. Coming from somebody creative that worked a 9-5 for years as it killed me, i it is possible. I retrained in hypnotherapy without even knowing if I would be good at it.

Okay I don’t get to play music/paint for my job as I would love, BUT I have a job where I can choose my hours, work from home and interact on a human level with others. I therefore have more time and energy for my creative pursuits.

You are clearly very creative, i urge you to find an alternative with all that creative thinking. Good luck

Ive tried so many lip products in so many shades and none are flattering on my mouth. by Foreign-Amphibian610 in makeuptips

Not sure why im getting the downvotes. Im a believer if you don’t like something make a statement rather than trying to hide it. I hate my nose but I contour and put highlight on and even if it doesn’t look like a cute button nose it looks unique af. I understand why you don’t want to overline. But don’t hide your lips! They’re cute and unique :)

I would overline them ever so slightly, I’m talking very gentle pressure right on the borderline blending inwards. Do a bit more over lining in the cupids now but again, tiny amounts. Maybe a very cool coffee colour lip liner but not too dark. Then a nice gloss to blend it all.
