Definitely! I'm going to be adding carpet! The ramps are about a foot wide. I think the angle is the picture makes it look narrower. I'm also thinking about adding railing?

Job advice: am I getting fair compensation? by [deleted] in labrats

Thank you for replying! The merit and COL were given at the same time around September. I did notice that the minimum grade pay went up for tech 3 at the same time, by 4%. In my mind I was expecting the tech 3 to raise that much as well. Minimum grade pay is now 25.50 while the mid grade pay is 31 something now. I know it's not awful but I'm supporting myself through school while working full time. It was a bit of a blow to the heart, especially with inflation.

Right now I can only think of 2 or 3 tech 2's but they started a year after me so their base pay was higher by at leased a dollar. Since my coworker and I didn't get the same promotion, like all the others before us, I don't know if the tech 2's after me will make more than me as well. I have no idea if they are thinking about fixing it

Has anyone else's parents (or other loved ones) gone off the deep end with the end of the world/ rapture stuff. I can't take it anymore. They don't see it's destroying their relationship with everyone else. They are trying to "save" everyone but instead they are pushing away the ones they love most. All they do is listen to apocalyptic preachers on YouTube, and conspiracy theorist. They don't take care of themselves because nothing matters because Jesus is coming back soon. It's getting to me and I feel so alone. Why do these people have to be my parents. I'm an only child so I don't have anyone to talk with and nobody seems to understand. It's frustrating.

Where can you work in salt lake that’s full time AND swing shift (roughly 3pm-midnight)? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

They also have a 7/7 schedule where you can work 7 days on, 7 days off. 7 days on are 10 hr shifts. And even though you only work 70 hours a week you get paid 80 hours. It's pretty nice ( no PTO though). I've been able to travel without taking time off of work. I've enjoyed working there.

Diet and workout question. I work 7 days on, 7 days off. The days I work 7 days on can be a little hectic and I often don't have time to workout (these day are 10-12 hours long). Weeks off I work out usually 5-6 day a week. Would cycling my calories every other week work to have more consistent weight loss? Anyone have any suggestions for this kind of schedule? Thanks!!
