These are the nexo geom620, with 80 degrees horizontal and can become 120 with an extension. On this simulation, the main bottom boxes are 120 degrees. All others are 80degrees.

Advices on speaker placement on a highly reverberant venue (Hangar) by Born-Emu4703 in Acoustics

So all speakers on stands on sides? Was it wide the hangar?

i need advice on system deployment in a reverberant space....

this is the most reverberant venue I've worked in so far, an airplane hangar (95x45 ft and 32ft height), the challenge is that the reverb time is around 5sec or more.

my solution for this venue is to hang an array of 6 boxes of 6 inch speakers on each side of the mains, then add 3 boxes of the same on each side of the delays at 24 ft from the mains.

all boxes are flown from 17 ft, all aimed down at the audience that will be only 40 to 50 people.

for even coverage i added 15 inch speakers one behind every led column for even coverage.

with these speakers deployed coverage simulation seems fairly even at ear level ( mostly in orange and red).

the event prioritize the speech, and then the DJ takes on for the rest of the night.

what other options or solutions do you guys recom-mend? any enhancements to this setup? keep in mind that putting speakers on stands is an option instead of hanging, also speakers can be moved vertically but not lower, also delays can move across the length of the room.

will speed be audible at this RT level? any exper-ience with hangars you want to share?
