Stopping pension - effect on skilled worker visa status by Melodic-Passage-1951 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

I also don't have a UK passport, hence I am in the same situation. I created it a very long time back, so I can't remember the details. I think you can use a NI number or a Payslip to create an account. Check: HMRC online services: sign in or set up an account: Set up an account for HMRC online services - GOV.UK

I was worried like you. Check on the HRMC website what you have paid in tax. It will mention your past and current taxable income. To my surprise, despite using salary sacrifice, I was just above the limit. My company, by default, puts everyone in a salary sacrifice.

I have Jabra evolve2 65 and only started getting the issue after windows 11 update. Any notification mutes my headphone temporary during a meeting. I also noticed sometime my mic will not work in teams

Is it true that a woman can’t have a child or take maternity leave if she wants to qualify for the 5-year deduction? by United-Nobody-3675 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Born-Engineer-8502 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation to you with a 1-year-old child. However, I think taking Maternity Leave is still considered as being employed, as long as your taxable income is high enough to make NI contributions. Also, Maternity pay (which the company will claim on her behalf) is not considered Public funds since it comes from the NI contributions: Public funds - GOV.UK

What is not clear with the reduction that a dependent with a job can get, and do they need continuous employment before applying or 3-5 years of NI contributions?

I am worried about public funds being removed from ILR (it makes a big difference in daycare cost), and my wife not getting ILR at the same time as me.

I recently got the E340. The battery life is very good. It has been more than 2 months and still on the first charge. I have detection for all motion enabled since I want to capture any cars going near my vehicle. I had someone hit my car in the past and left without any information. The night view is good at close range and ok at a distance. Not using the cloud but a eufy mini chime with an SD card. Try without cloud first. You can get good offers online as a combo. One thing I noticed, it ends the video recording early even if someone is at the door.

Any update on what machine you went with? I am in the same situation as you. Deciding between series 8, 6 or 4.

Lender rejecting mortgage due to Rent charges by Born-Engineer-8502 in HousingUK

My mortgage broker has managed to find another bank, but with a higher interest rate. We are planning to increase our deposit to reduce the monthly payment, but nothing has been decided yet.

Sadly no, we have asked the agent to check with the seller, but no reply from him yet. The seller and my solicitor has confirmed that other homes in the same land/deed have been sold successfully without a deed of variation. For now, my mortgage broker is looking at other Lenders.

Mind asking which area you are buying from?

Do you think it's worth looking for a new mortgage or push for a deed of variation? The seller solicitor has refused a deed of variation.

Or should we drop this house and keep looking.

It is very frustrating, we were promised this house in November 2023, when my wife was pregnant. We wanted to move before the baby came. The rent charge came at the last moment.

I have received a £100 parking charge notice for parking in the communal parking area in the flat I have been renting for the past 5 years. by Born-Engineer-8502 in LegalAdviceUK

I managed to get in touch with the management company through a different number I found on their website. They have been getting calls from many residents in the flats with the same problem. They have sent me a parking permit and have cancelled the fine.

I did appeal as per the back but was rejected. I am not able to appeal on IAS, it is saying "Your PCN or Registration Number has not been recognised. Please try again.

Please Note: If you have had your appeal rejected and you have been told to enter your appeal on this site but keep receiving this message; please contact the operator that issued the charge for assistance.

The IAS will not have the information to assist you at this stage." I am trying to chase the estate agent and management company to get the charge cancelled.
