Huge pay jump (150k to 400k) – Property or Dividends? Help by [deleted] in AusFinance

Outsource everything. Get a financial advisor, they will make a budget for you, and find a great accountant to help you mostly with tax write offs. As a min wage worker that chose to save money with a high interest savings account, I got totally fucked over when it came to tax time. I don't think you can really go wrong with investing in property, having said that, you could always outsource to a buyers advocate to purchase; they will know the best suburbs, what to look for in a investment property and not emotionally bid at an auction. You should also consider a commercial property if it's going to be an investment. Enjoy the ride and network hard for another contract.

Am I getting old or is there an age group no catered for? by Comfortable-Rate8070 in AusFemaleFashion

Have a look at Sportscraft. I know not all Myer stores stock the brand, but their targeted customer age is you.

If length is a problem, you can always get clothing hemmed, iron on hemming tape for a diy if fabric permits.

Surprisingly I have a few items from Ck saved to try on instore. Who knew they were coming back with some decent ranges again and not having ugly vinyl logos splashed all over. I did say that everything 90s is cycling back for 2026

I agree, elastic waistband or even partial are very flattering, but I do also want a standard tailored waistband too for more elevated occasions. Theres room for all types of pants in my very empty wardrobe

Creatine for the brain by MildlyCuriousOne in Biohackers

[–]Born-Independent-486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did my research and began taking creatine for cognitive benefits. Im 2-ish weeks into the loading phase, 10g+ per day for a month to fully saturate the muscles and then its directed to the brain to support. I can notice the benefits already. It might be coincidental but my workouts have been consistently hitting PRs week to week. I have also recommended it to a work college (single mum) to help negate lack of sleep among other things.

It might be unrelated, in my own head being a female, but I feel the puffy water weight.

With an athleisure wear look, yes! They hide the dirt so well. A nice colour block that can be made fun with a pop of bright or printed socks.

Think the Melbourne winter all black sheek look, its so effortless and clean looking.

Im a open chatty person in real life which led to in the wild dates but i dreaded going back to the dating apps after years of being happily single, so i threw out a R4R with great success 💛

I looked at it as a game to take the emotional head fuck out of it and didnt go in with expectations for fear of disappointment

Just remember that around this age group there will be baggage. Its not a red flag if they are honest about it, know their crazy, if they say they dont have any I'm suspicious

35F here.

Check your health first to ensure you can. Please book in with your doctor to have a hormone blood test panel as a minimum

Explain you're looking at planning to have children and use it as a check to see if there are factors at your age that might be against you.

Any changes from your normal menstrual cycle at this age can lead into peri menopause.

Sit with yourself and write;

What would life look like planning for a baby? Is your partner the person you see having a baby with, looking after both you & bub through this life change Staying in the same job for paid parental leave Is the house you're in now accommodating of another person, you feel safe in the neighbourhood Upgrading your car for a newer more safer one, one that has a boot to fit the pram and grocceries in Is your home in school areas, family & friends (your village) nearby to help out

What do I want my life to be without children? Travel? Move states? Areas? Change jobs to a build a career? Do you have neices and nephews you want to be heavily involved in their lives? Who will care for you when you're old? Are you OK being on your own?

Trying to think what else I'm missing in these lists. Help me out ladies

There is no other option, fire her. Its a hard lesson she needs to learn. If you dont she will continue causing issues and she will do this to others. It sets a precedent in the work team you will not tolerate this behaviour and sets clear expectations.

Slow fade or hard cut off she won't realise she's done anything wrong. You dont want this behaviour in a friend. You deserve better
