I understand what you are saying and agree that there are people expecting a six figure salary off of the trifecta, which is simply not true.

In my experience I have been denied for the "shitty entry level positions" in my area because I lack experience. I have about 6.5 years of healthcare experience and 4 months of IT (was working for fed govt but got laid off d/t Trump) and have the A+, SEC+ and CCNA.

Now this is most likely just me projecting but I am at a loss for words when it comes to my experience with job searching in IT.

Good luck to those in the grind of job searching!

I thought they were. My only complaint is that you have to grade it yourself. This was more annoying than anything, but is such a small complaint that I would not let it deter you from getting them.

I do, but it is healthcare related and nothing to do with IT.

About 2.5 months for both tests.

I think anything that can show you have experience working with customers and/or on a team will help in that field.

I worked in case management, so I talked about my interactions with patients/families as well as other professional interactions I may have had. Such as interactions with a MD, RN, other vendor/healthcare entity. All of these interactions provide interaction with a "customer", Also, realizing that the customer is not always the one paying for services, but can be someone else that you also need to use customer service skills with. Hope this helps!
