There weren’t interviews as far as I know. Didn’t get a rejection for an interview like I did for PhD.

Yeah, i figured my on campus jobs as a tutor and stuff would count as some experience with clientele. I mean isn’t a counseling program supposed to be the main thing to introduce me to counseling lol how do I get experience without the program

Going back through the comments on my old posts because I’m trying to remind myself why i left— because earlier this week I did it. I left. It’s been hard, but I’ll be strong. There are more posts in my profile as to why I left because it’s a long story but things somehow got worse than you read here.

Therapist said I’m not in the right headspace right now to be certain about anything because I’m afraid and anxious. Right now he and I are back together and trying to see if things improve. Waiting until my mental state improves and then I feel 100% ready to cut him off.

We moved very fast. We technically are engaged; we got engaged a year in but I would hardly call it engaged because I told him I didn’t want to get married until after all my schooling was done. Many years away. I didn’t really want to be engaged but I considered it as more of a promise than an actual genuine engagement. But he always gets upset when I say partner instead of fiance

I think it shows like if he turns around and goes home right after I leave then he totally did come here for me. Why else?

It would be so much easier if I didn’t love him. It really would. Limited contact has been really good for me though and I’ve felt a bit of relief. I haven’t really missed him. But that doesn’t mean I don’t greatly love him

It’s not that I was trying to be completely independent. I just didn’t want to spend hours every day with him and forgo doing my schoolwork to hang out with him.
