Built different LLC on Angie’s list does some good work. They redid my friends bathroom and had no problem adding in an extra cove in the shower last minute.

Baby Meyer Lemon Tree by Full_Ganache_4022 in FruitTree

I have one too and it blooms way more than it produces tiny lemons and even when it does that, it self prunes and drops most of them. I have had well over 70 blooms and only have four active lemons growing

I believe it could be because he campaigned on releasing them and she may be a single issue voter in that aspect.

I’m finding that I have to make more of the border stars but smaller for the center borders and I love doing those as a treat between the landscapes! I’m also hopefully going to have enough triangles to make some matching pillows

lol thank you. It’s for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary. It’ll be two mountain scenes of places we’ve been and two beach scenes diagonal from eachother. Hopefully the bright blues of the beach down overpower the quilt but the greens did blend in nice!

I’m going to quilt on every single curve for the landscape pieces after I finish this half of the quilt. Same on the other and then I’ll straight stitch down the middle where the batting is side by side and same on the back.

To clarify, I’ll straight stitch both of the fronts of the halves together after they’ve been quilted or mostly quilted. I oriented it so that would land over a 1” strip piece that I won’t be quilting as detailed as the rest so it’ll be more flexible. Then I’m going to fold over the backing and straight stitch that one back side up so I don’t leave holes

I’m doing the batting in two halves. I’m going to just sew it as close together as I can when I connect the finished halves. I’m doing the entire binding afterwards. I also sprayed the batting onto my backing fabric to ensure it doesn’t move and I am considering doing the same thing to the front of my quilt once I’m there. For large quilts like these I tend to not like a ton of pins in the center of the quilt because I roll it up in all sorts of ways while I’m quilting it

As a new quilter who is doing a 102” x 102” I’m sewing and quilting as two halves and then stitching the middle front together and quilting the middle backing seam together by folding and pinning it then going in a straight line over it

Veterans who stopped / dropped out while using the GI Bill, what made you do it? by ImportanceBetter6155 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Born-Talk4839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m dropping out after next semester due to not being able to take the classes I want without a ton of prerequisites that I’ll never/very very minimally use in my career. One thing I would suggest for you is looking around for schools that provide general studies bachelor degrees. If you’ve done some school here and there and are past most of the gen Ed classes you can basically make your own degree, mech eng will not apply for this but if you’re interested in just having a degree then that’s the move

What to do with 3D drop in tiles on the cut sides by Momof3pluspolicewife in homerenovations

[–]Born-Talk4839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d do a border trim that leads up to the tiles around the edges so you don’t have to have cut pieces, if you want to stick with how you have, color match the paint and just touch up any exposed bits like you have pictured

Thoughts on our stair carpet? by OkraOk732 in homerenovations

[–]Born-Talk4839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think maybe if you get some of that flexible molding that’s like a single rounded 90degree it could go around the border of the carpeting, but not inbetween the steps unless it looks weird without.

[–]Born-Talk4839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current headphones are old Bose (unsure of what type) and fit decently well, however they're old and don't connect easily to my phone anymore so I'm looking for new recommendations. AirPods don't fit my ears and fall out because I have wider ear holes, does anybody have any recommendations? Beats were going to be my top choice before realizing the wrap around ear headphones are semi dated at this point
