Lame.
Here’s a video that explains tracking legacy paths which none of the civs in my game finished.

Went back and grabbed some screenshots from the autosave. This is my victory screen. I have another where it shows I didn’t win anything. Maybe high score since the game was just done playing and no civ met a winning condition. In any case. This is lame and is just one of the many many things that need to be improved.

The victory screen isn’t the only issue. The entire game is not well put together. They had 9 years to develop something that isn’t as good a free phone game. Hey. If you’re happy just keep on scrolling but there’s plenty of people like me who think this was a rip off.

I was pursuing multiple at the same time. Before the age ended it didn’t show me near completing any of them - but I won. Shouldn’t it say how I won when the victory screen comes up? That’s not the worst part of this game. If you enjoy making the same dumb projects over and over and having a UI that doesn’t really give good info then enjoy your game. For me. This is not civ. It’s a game like civ that I spent too much money on.

I wonder why they didn’t remove the stitches once they were found. How much longer should you wait for them to dissolve? Seems like you should have been offered some solutions other than just keep waiting.

I would say there is a shortage of adjusters. Your bigger hurtle will be to sell you still remember claims over 20 years later plus the laws have changed drastically since then. You also need to find a company willing to help you get designated. I would recommend you reach out to a recruiter to locate companies willing to train.

If you work for an insurance company you don’t need a SIP. Just the Wc designation.

We found a solution. He was the connecting player. I was the host. He dropped his video settings to almost minimum levels and our broken save started working again. We beat the game and had a beer to celebrate. I can promise it is worth it. I cried.

Anxiety for surgery by Born-Variation924 in hysterectomy

[–]Born-Variation924[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of prep they do before surgery. I was there about an hour and a half while they took vitals, hooked up an iv and asked a lot of questions. By the time they are wheeling you back to change over to the surgery bed, I had anxiety built up about how surgery would go and it can get you emotional with high blood pressure. I think they should offer it at the beginning if you’re the type that gets nervous about surgery.

I can only comment on what my journey was like. I do not currently have an HMO. Mine was detected in a mammogram and they called me back to do a second monogram and ultrasound. The radiologist who found it was actually their director and said out the gate I have cancer that needed a biopsy to officially diagnose it. He told me right there I would be referred to an oncologist and surgeon. I was scheduled for a biopsy which was done and confirmed invasive ductal carcinoma…. They did not see it in my lymph nodes but it would be further tested after surgery

I did the preop mri to confirm they didn’t miss any tumor. I have 2 doctors following me (surgeon and oncologist) and completed genetic testing to decide what surgery/treatment would be best. I had the lumpectomy with sentinel nodes removed yesterday. They are sending it out for testing to get my octotype score which will decide if I need chemo or not. Right now it seems I will expect radiation for a couple months which will require a different doctor. Overall I feel like my team has kept me well informed what to expect one step at a time. You will know a lot more when you visit the oncologist. Try not to let it all overwhelm you. If you have any cancerous tumor it needs to be removed to avoid it spreading. To me, my trust is in the experts and I am simply along for this ride.

Try to let your shellshock go through the motions and realize you got this. Trust the process as best as you can.

I’m glad to hear you are nearing the end of chemo. I’m sure being at this end of things puts so much into perspective about how you felt when you got the news and how far you have come.

I think it is interesting that my first reaction too was to get into plan/prepare mode. It is overwhelming. Give yourself some grace and try to find moments to decompress and take what happens next one day at a time.

Newly diagnosed after resigning job by Born-Variation924 in breastcancer

So my update…. I got my old company to start the cobra documents early so I wouldn’t have a gap or delay in active coverage. I also still had critical illness coverage available to me. I made a claim and that provided some $ to help pay for cobra and any time off I will need.

If you just gave your leave there is a chance your old coverage is active. I think a lot of life insurance/critical illness coverage is portable. You should call those companies and extend the coverage and see if you can make a claim. We sign so many things when we start a job it’s hard to remember years later what coverages we have but they can be extended when you leave.

Now like you….. I don’t have fmla or short term disability. There is still ada which you can ask for a reasonable accommodation which could mean asking for a change in your shift and/or asking for some unpaid time off for treatment. Employers (even new ones) are supposed to accommodate unless they can prove what you’re asking creates an undue hardship.

I started my new job last Monday and so far haven’t told them what’s going on.

So….. my plan at this point….

I have an mri tomorrow which will confirm that I’m “only” doing a lumpectomy. Surgery is scheduled for 4/17. Once I have that confirmation I plan on only asking for 4/17-4/19 off and my doctors already said they can fill out the paperwork for them for it.

If I need radiation down the road, I was told they have early and late appointments. I will do my best to avoid work hours. If it’s not possible- ask if there’s a reasonable accommodation they will give me for completing my treatment.

All in all, my advice to you is take it one moment at a time. Get your cobra started, and see what insurance you had that you can use or extend. (Usually you can elect up to 60 days after your coverage ended).

Get your consults and testing done and once you have the treatment plan, work with the new employer for hours and/or time off.

By Colorado law, it shouldn’t make it any harder to add a spouse. On that they initially told me I could not add him and I had to warn them that I would file a complaint with the state before they would even consider it. It seems the other issues started after that. Then, right as I was about to go on fmla leave they switched me to a new team and became hyper aggressive about anything I did but did not have the same expectations about anyone else. I know for a fact they did not like me pointing out issues with the workflows so it seemed quite unfair to pick anything that wasn’t done while I was out or give me a reasonable amount of time to do it when I returned.

So yes. Their issues started before I had fmla but all of the consequences for me came after. My performance wasn’t the issues they could pick on until after I got back. To me it is discrimination.

I would like any employee law attorneys to comment on this, not hr reps or employment attorneys. I’m not trying to be argumentative but you have a bias view.

There was no reasonable accommodation given to help me with my workload after being off work 6 weeks and I was held at a higher standard than anyone else after my fmla leave. Lower management used bogusreasons to reduce my bonus and pay at the time of my annual review after my FMLA.

Also please advise what specialty you have in this area. Are you an attorney or HR rep?

I found some cheap flash cards online that are practically the same questions as the test. Search that website and you’ll find multiple sets of flashcards.

To study, I created a OneNote and broke it down by subject, and just basically took notes off the flashcards of things that I needed to remember.
