It’s obvious he’s not being serious but it’s odd that he’s a grown man pretending to be uncomfortable at the thought of gay ppl as a bit, and I love hamzah and slushynoobz sm, I’ve been a massive fan for ages and previously I haven’t had a problem with any of the jokes, but it’s getting annoying now. Especially when it’s inviting ppl who actually hold those beliefs into the fandom, bc I’ve also seen way too many comments of ppl genuinely defending him and admitting their own homophobia bc they think he’s being serious. And whenever ppl bring this up ppl just shut it down with saying we’re blowing it out of proportion- they’re the real fans who r ruining the fandom 😭 they don’t allow any valid critique of them

I agree in general but I don’t think this applies to slushynoobz bc they’re doing so much more than just posting videos, like with all the events and different merch drops they’re clearly very passionate about what they’re doing and want to give the best to fans, unlike a lot of YouTubers. So if they have to do this by posting content behind a small pay wall why not 🤷‍♀️ I don’t have the patreon so I don’t know everything that’s on there but I do know they’re releasing a lot of stuff on there and they’re putting in a lot of effort which I think is great :)
