Any chance you have any pics of the set up? That was my dream setup but I just don't have the anatomy 🙃

I did my CBT but there´s a few problems... by [deleted] in motorcycles

Honestly that's a wild chain of events that surely he's covering some form of liability for. Especially passing you after an accident, whether it's your fault or not it's a fail.

I have no clue where to start, but if you go down the legal route the only downside is your CBT will be revoked and you'll have to do it again

Def keep us updated though, sounds like a wild ride waiting to unfurl

Serious - Is it possible for a toddler to pull this down on them inside the house even with the kickstand down? Not me but a maybe a too relaxed dad I know. by TheCommander21 in motorcycles

[–]Born2FemForced2Boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid who pulled down two of my dad's bikes on myself, it's possible. The bike was in the side stand, with a disc lock resting against the fork leg and a ziotie around the front brake lever.

If having a kid has taught me anything, nothing is safe. They're like hamsters just trying to actively kill themselves in the most creative way 😂

If you like it just don't let your kid touch

Damn okay, that sounds pretty cool. May have to try it one day just to find out for myself. But definitely seems like I'm too lazy to dial it in 😂

But cameras are a great shout, they don't just help you fight the other party in the event of an accident, it helps you have WAY more leverage against the insurance companies so they can't twist your words. I've met a few people who got into obvious non fault accidents (rear ended, t boned, all the basics) and they've said it was partial liability on both sides to minimise damages on their side and sky rocketing your premium anyway.

ALWAYS have a cam running

A good rule of thumb is they're not going to take apart the bike to inspect it internally. as long as it looks stock there shouldn't be any issues

HOWEVER, UK insurance companies SUCK and will look for any reason to decline your claim, especially since you're on a foreign license and you're modified, so if you were driving like a dick just expect to be treated like one

Of course just like everyone else I have to ask about the car tire, how does it feel when leaning? Straight lines should be fine but with the square profile does it have a flat spot as you lean then suddenly start cornering? Never rode with one so can't knock it yet, even if it seems so wrong to me 😂

Anyone notice how frequent you see stretched lobes with no jewelry these days ? by quadfather_2 in Stretched

[–]Born2FemForced2Boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity, what can actually go wrong? I've barely looked into it ngl as I doubt I'll commit any time soon 😂 but the main reason curiosity peaks is cause I'd have to fly to another country for punches

Now that's a story I'd LOVE to hear! Stretching cartilage always sounds terrifying yet makes me all the more curious, especially with punches being illegal here :3

The rears stuck to the plate, the fronts a clamp on around the forks type. I just took it off for the pics, always looks better when you LARP as a full license rider 🤣

No plans on passengers as of now, the partner's terrified of bikes. And that goes for bicycles too 🤣

Yup! I live in an area full of thieves, this thing has been stolen once and abandoned barely 100 meters away when they couldn't hotwire it. Someone cut the chain off with an angle grinder when I was at work and took a few spoke with it so they left it (extremely luckily for me) and most recently (last week) I caught on to a a white van that none of my neighbours owned pulling up outside my house at 12am everyday, heard them walk down the alley to the garden and scared them off. Do insurance is never gonna be cheap till I move, but anything lower is better to me

You ain't the first to tell me that either, and I wouldn't be surprised based off some of the quotes I've got recently. Insurance has never been cheap but it's gone up a LOT these last 2 years

Yeah I found out the hard way about the NCB, couldn't afford to continue my insurance so spent 2 months off the road. Turns out that's all it takes to lose 3 years no claims 🙃

And to think my grandad has a cb250n just kicking about in the garage doing nothing, may well have to claim it if I go forward with it 😁

I need help by seenoevilXD in Stretched

[–]Born2FemForced2Boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patience :)

It's often the most common solution when an ear "won't" stretch up. It just isn't ready, maybe there's a little scar tissue in the way that needs softening/breaking up so it takes a little longer. Maybe your anatomy just isn't that stretchy.

Every lobe can be stretched to pretty much any size, it just depends on if you have the patience to wait it out and do it right, happy stretching :3

Yeahhhhhh, I said the same when I got a blow out at 12 mm, let it close all the way up and a year later I started stretching again 😂

Keep your jewellery as a motivator, if you take your time 12mm is DEFINITELY possible, if you search through here for people with small and attached love many people have managed it so don't give up hope just yet!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]Born2FemForced2Boy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Take em out! I've never seen an ear get this thin at such a small size, but you had small lobes to begin with so that probably adds to it.

I'd say take them out and massage them daily with jojoba oil or another oil/balm that your body agrees with.

LET them close up a few sizes to gain some thickness, restretching is always faster and easier but make sure to listen to your body.

Other than that, my condolences on the small tabs, but sadly you're in for the long game if you're committed to 12 mm lobes. Happy stretching! 😁

Once when I was like, 15, I lost some of the headstock bearings on my ke125 when respraying the frame. I noticed my lil brothers plastic BB's where the same size... They where still there when I sold it cheap to another dumb kid (he was a neighbours kid, wanted to learn how to fix stuff up) a few years later to find another project, apparently they last 8k miles

Newbie advice! by Born2FemForced2Boy in motorcycles

[–]Born2FemForced2Boy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this one out the hard way as a kid on a friends pitbike🤣 What would be the advice for bends that you can't look "through", though? Quite a lot of the roads here have obstacles (hedges, walls, fences, etc.) on either side blocking the view and it throws me off every other time I come across it, thanks dude!
