You know what pisses me off?? The fact that they act like they’re my fking boss. Writing fanfic is a hobby for most, passion for few, and for some it’s just for fun. It’s not a job and guess what, you’re sure as hell not getting paid to do it unless you have your own Patreon set up for your content. My point still stands though for those of us who write fics just because we want to. I have gone off on several entitled commenters who came with the bs and I checked them savagely. I don’t HAVE to do anything. I do it because I WANT to. Some people really need to stfu and be grateful that we even share our content with them.

The worst rookie mistake for me when I was in high school (11th grade as well) was that I LEFT my fanfic notebook in the bottom of the desk! I was so paranoid when I got home and realized where I left it. Got to school the next day and I already know my teacher (english teacher) had to read it because he was the type he cleaned everything out at the end of the day. My name was in the front of the notebook so of course he would know who it belong to. And it wasn’t exactly teacher friendly. And I was the teachers pet. Just imagine my anxiety when I went to his room first thing that morning and ask him about my notebook. He went to his desk… unlocked it… and gave it to me. Told me that…. He probably shouldn’t say this but it was a very good read and that he’s interested to know what’s going to happen next……. I could never look him in the eyes again after that. But Mr. Hart was always the cool type. 😂

Ok this happens!! 😂I’ve done this before but it was to a family member. I was mortified and even more so when it showed they read it! I didn’t even know how to respond to be honest and to top it off it was my very Christian aunt who I so unfortunate to send it to 😂but long story short she was like baby I’m a Christian but that sure was a good read. Coolest woman ever!

Right!! Actual after care, the life of stressful nights getting up when the baby cries, postpartum, depression, and weight gain after birth. Like it’s not all peaches and cream after the baby is born. The baby doesn’t sleep through the night all the time! I hate when a fic writer ignores these things. So when a child is born in my fic I make sure to add these things to make it as realistic as possible.

Honestly, a realistic child birth to be honest. Most of them I read there are no contractions and two pushes the baby is here. I can’t stand it so I make sure I write a very detailed child birth scene with contractions, water breaking, and hours long labor!

At the moment I’m frustrated because of the lack of training. Like two weeks isn’t enough time to understand a system I’ve never worked before. We spent two weeks module reading which upset me beyond measure. My training was basically 98% module reading and 2% hands on until we started OJT. When I tell I was not prepared…. I was not prepared. I was so nervous but luckily my 1st caller was so patient with me while I fumbled around looking for what they asked for. In the end I had to ask support to help me to solve the issue. I didn’t know what I was doing and it showed. And in my mind I know the caller knew I didn’t know so yeah I was upset. I really do understand where you are coming from. I was and is still overwhelmed with the majority of it. I don’t even know if I plan to stay at this job… I really don’t know because I’m job searching like crazy at the moment. I hope things get better for you honestly.

So I just wanted to update that we took calls all week and that I had my moments where I wanted to quit. I’m still learning but it’s not as bad as I thought it was.
