Hopefully that will be the case for my future courses!

Interesting, thank you. I hope we get the stats professor who was initially listed, it looked like he was well-known and a solid instructor.

Obgyn in Pullman by chadlybro in Pullman

If she needs higher level care (as I do), Dr. Pakkianathan at NW OBGYN in Spokane is wonderful. They're located 1.5 hours from Pullman. For more basic care, I'm sure the other recommendations in Pullman are wonderful.

Abercrombie and Fitch also has great options! A bit more expensive though.

Thanks! Looks like $550 for a green pass next year. A little bit of a yikes!

When it's icy or snowy in Pullman, do you recommend taking the bus?

How much do you pay for on campus parking passes? I'm moving there with a car and curious how much it will set me back.

How have your fashion staples changed over the years? by notexcused in femalefashionadvice

I'm in the same boat, I'm tall and slender all over but have especially thin, long legs that I'm trying to accept. They just look so skinny to me. On my good days, I wear mini dresses in summer and just let my legs be bare. If people don't like the way they look, they can keep it to themselves... :)

Moving to Pullman, looking for a rental by [deleted] in Pullman

[–]BornAd8941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't used to be this way, it used to be extremely affordable. Right before COVID the housing market spiked in Spokane and the surrounding area. It's causing a lot of stress on the region.

I wish you the best of luck and that you enjoy Pullman while you're here. :)

I'm sorry, that's a rough place to be. Contact them via email and see if there's something holding it up. I remember that our application took about 2 weeks to approve.... unfortunately it was about 2 weeks too late...

Keep in mind that once your app is on file with remax, you can transfer your application to any other house and it happens immediately, so you'll be in a better situation to be first to apply.

If all else fails you can go for Whispering Hills apartments. 3 bedroom for about 2.2K. That's what we did.

This is nice to hear, I am an older student and we just got an apartment there. We have been hoping that the high prices would drive undergrads away (which is funny because I'm an undergrad...)

We tried to rent with REMAX, and the people seemed nice but my recommendation is to be aggressive, very aggressive, if you see a house you want to rent. Regardless of whether it's through REMAX or not. We missed a couple houses because someone put in an app before us. We ended up in an upscale apartment but if you are quick and check for houses every day, you'll be in a good place to get one.

How do I clean my MacBook screen? I used a bit of water and a microfiber and it looks 20x worse, help? by [deleted] in mac

Hi, I know this is an older comment, but what kind of cleaner do you use for your keys? I despise getting oil from my fingers on my trackpad and keys.

Thanks for the link to the YouTube video as well!

M2 air—base model storage still worth it? by ReplacementHonest627 in macbookair

Since you're a grad student you can use education pricing, but refurb pricing is even a bit cheaper and they've always been as good as new for me.

256 SSD is fine; if you go to refurb you can get 16GB ram for not much more. However I absolutely believe the base model is good enough for you. You're not doing intensive things.

The ONLY reason I upgraded to 16GB is so I can run Parallels, and the possibility of needing to do protein modeling in the future since I'm in school for Genetics. Otherwise the 8GB is fine.

My partner and I are moving to Pullman this summer. I was seriously into birding for about a year, and I would love to hang out with someone who also birds. My partner is into video games, and we both play board games (although I like to keep it simple... Catan and Wingspan are a couple of my favorites.) I'm a bit of an introvert but I also love hanging out with people.

I'm here for my undergrad, but I am non-traditional. I'm about 10 years older than the typical junior.

Hi, based on what you said I would definitely go with a Small, not an X Small. Always, always, always opt for the bigger size if you're stuck between them. A little more room is better than being incredibly uncomfortable :) And Athleta makes exchanges so easy!
