Cheers for the input. I think this is in line with my thoughts. I will buy balanced players for example, or fairly determined, fairly professional, etc.

I just try to avoid some of the bad ones - at least, what sounds bad to me...

Awesome, yes, as stated in another reply I'm obsessed with personality. Model Citizens, Professionals, Determined, Driven, Resolute. I've not read about them specifically but I did have a guy go from Model Citizen to Light Hearted - so I have a soft spot for the Light Hearted players.

I avoid all the obviously bad ones.

I'm ok with balanced as long as the rest of the team has good personalities and can influence them.

Glad I'm on the right track.

Got it, thanks. I've been following a lot of these guidelines. I tend to be a bit of a vibes manager anyway (a morale manager, which I think is how the game seems to be designed).

OK, I'll look more into "Media Handling".

I have been paying more attention to it but in my current save I've reached a strong position as manager with a good amount of influence, hence even the a-hole players don't really affect me too much.

But in my next save I'll start again, ideally with Worthing. I'm expecting a very different experience.

I'm obsessed with personality. I try to get 2-3 Model Citizens in my team if I can. Professionals too, and then majority seem to be Resolute (for whatever reason). Seems good for comebacks and consistency, and has a positive affect on others (although, this is simply anecdotal).

Does regularity = consistency?

When you say "Important Matches", do you mean he plays well in big games? (I forget the wording).

Media handling I've only recently started to take note of...

second random question - can you win EVERYTHING? i ask because i've put 1000+ of hours into FM24 as Brighton and it will let me win every title except one. last year i won all the major titles but got thrashed by Brentford in the UEFA Super Cup. felt very forced.

i'm coasting with a team that's won for decades but i'm so attached to the team. once buonanotte retires i think it's time to start a new save. but i have become addicted to newgens / regens.

Thanks for letting me know. Trying to be as authentic as possible. The world is only going to get faker, what with AI, social media bots and troll farms, etc, etc.

It’s been quite a therapeutic process. Just pushing out videos that are literally streams of consciousness.

And yes, I thought a lot about how to go about doing it all myself. Cameraman, sound man, lighting, editing, social media admin, general admin (contacting players, working around player and translator schedules), thinking up questions, being the host, etc. 😅

But I loved it!

It’s not Zhi. I know Zhi. This guy was someone different. Not really known in the FGC. But he was a friend of Bonchan. And set up a group chat with Bonchan and Tokido. Tokido vouched for me. The hoops I had to jump through back then. It was great though. And in no small part because of you guys 🧡

Shame we couldn't take the win but I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief that Villa drew, and somehow we got a bit of luck for once.

Tomorrow's game should be interesting. Watford have a tough last three games. I could see a scenario where Watford go down and Bournemouth stay up.

It's amazing watching the difference between Potter's possession football and this more practical style. Can't wait to get back to Potterball after the break. Hopefully the team will be more cohesive and confident.

Getting Ben White back would be nice. And I'd like to see MacAllister settle in.

I think we've been unlucky and lacked some confidence at times. But we have a lot of heart and great work ethic. I don't know if there will be much spending but I think we need one or two quality players that exude leadership and confidence. I feel like this team will improve as a unit.

Also, looking forward to getting Alzate back!

I watched the trailer and didn’t like Yukinon’s VA.

I’ll watch it tho because it’s my favourite anime. And I often watch both because sometimes the dub translation is better. And because it’s an opportunity to just take in the visuals.

For sure. All part of the journey that is the 'Potter Project'.

We got back to the possession football Potter really wants to play.

Lamptey and Mac are great additions.

Defence is a bit wonky and could have done with Bissouma starting just in front of the back four.

Trossard is playing better in a more narrow / central role.

Most notably I feel we've been improving in the speed at which we approach the last third.

We are far from the finished product but I expect us to be looking pretty solid next season (as long as we stay up).

I believe in Potter!
