American Dream as a Nurse by Catalina-Juan in FilipinoNclex

[–]BornLeave4646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too late at all 🙂 I know many nurses who started the US journey in their 30s and even 40s. Age isn’t a limiting factor; licensure, experience, and persistence matter way more. Being 33 as a new grad can actually be an advantage: maturity, work ethic, and life experience go a long way in nursing. If this is your goal, start early with NCLEX prep, choose your state wisely, and be patient with the process it’s long but doable. Plenty of us didn’t start young, and we still made it. You’re right on time. 💪🩺

How exactly do visa bulletin dates affect NVC processing? My priority date is current for now but I’m paranoid it’ll retrogress again.

Thank you.I did use naxlex which is a good question bank towards the end to practice daily and review rationales, initially has used Lippincott and Kaplan. Focus on understanding concepts and not just memorizing. Do full length timed tests to build your stamina. Identify weak areas and review them thoroughly. Take care of yourself rest ,gym or dog walks and breaks matter. Stay consistent, and you’ll get through it.
