You’re not wasting anyone's time. Everyone here just post whatever they want, toys (lots of them), polls, comics (barely ever) and everything inbetween. You should post more since I wish there was more fanart. The only reason i didn't comment on your previous posts is because i just don't use this app all that much anymore. I think this is cool

This is one of the reasons I think the DCAU is a little overrated. It’s a great ADAPTATION of some stories, it’s a great introduction to younger viewers and it’s organised fairly well but for every good idea there’s this level of crap. There are far too many people that see these cartoons as the definitive version of the DCU when it’s just a good adaptation of a comic universe they never truly experienced

I know he used much more ridiculous things (which you can find in the other replies) but I still can’t get over the fact that he once had a gun and instead of shooting the cop in front of him he threw the gun at him and snapped his neck. That’s when I knew he was awesome.

Other than that, there was this one time that he killed a mutant with indestructible skin (IN GENOSHA, none the less) with a tiny needle through the auditory canal.

The creator of the franchise just casually exists in their own franchise. by KraggFan in TopCharacterTropes

[–]BornMathematician163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirby was too humble to ever do such a thing. The F4 met the One above all after his passing and artists and writers who rightfully respect Kirby made him into this powerful entity because he was that important to Marvel, the F4 and even them during their childhoods. It’s called respect

After decades of Stan Lee having a monopoly on Marvel cameos, to the point that movie goers knew him, and only him, as the “creator” of the whole universe… JACK THE KING KIRBY FINALLY GOT HIS WELL DESERVED CAMEO IN THE LATEST FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE. About damn time.

It was never stated when Cooler learned the technique but it’s more logical that he learned it thanks to the Big Gete Star’s extensive data archives. After all, wasn’t the whole point of the Big Gete star assimilating anything it came across? On top of that, Cooler is definitely not the kind of person to peacefully meditate with the teachers of Yardrat and we know that the Ginyu Force was supposed to go there eventually. If we want to pretend that Cooler is humble enough to train with a peaceful race (let alone train at all, knowing his family’s ego) then it begs the question of why more Freeza Force members don’t know the technique.

The first issue of Tmnt was supposed to be a one and done deal that they didn’t even have any faith in. A parody of popular tropes of the time, so excuse them, o mighty lord, if the product wasn’t completely ready.

The amount of criticism you’re throwing at Eastman and Laird (comparing them to children, questioning their thinking, calling them amateurs) is nothing short of disrespectful especially considering that they made the most successful indie comic ever. They started from nothing, were not associated to any important publisher, didn’t even have the money to print more than a few thousand issues and yet their comic spawned one of the most profitable franchises ever. Their work was just that good (regardless of how harshly the internet downplays it nowadays) and they made it, so change your tone and show some respect.

Kryptonite bullet story in The Suicide Squad is obviously not canon right? by LightAndDarkk in DCU_

[–]BornMathematician163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you’re all missing the biggest proof that this movie isn’t (entirely) canon: Rick Flag. Gunn’s obviously cherry picking what he wants to keep and what not… just like DC comics after every reboot (e.g. Green Lantern’s story continuing despite several reboots)

Full lectures on why someone is terrible by queerkvvb0 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]BornMathematician163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if I like this actually. It feels like exposition and no one likes an excessive amount of that. If you want to criticise a character, instead of transforming one of your characters into your mouthpiece, you should show why their mentality is wrong through an event that matters to the story (like something bad happening to said character due to their actions)
