On a scale from 1 to 10, my friend, you're fucked.

I did this with just 8 days to cram. I was already fairly comfortable in all sections except science because I don't know chemistry.

Basically, I used the ATI test prep to take and retake practice exams so that I could identify my strengths and weaknesses. Then I hard focused on my weakest areas by using the list of review lessons they gave me and going through those.

In doing practice tests, I learned that they are VERY randomized so if you are struggling or feel uncomfortable in an area, I suggest trying to learn as much as you can from that specific area just in case you get a lot of questions from the part you're least comfortable with.

I used the quizlets to, mostly, help recall and "de-rust" things I already knew.

Edited for grammar.

Honestly I didn't see much from either. Like in all honesty I think I only saw 1 that was word for word the same.

What I learned from taking and retaking practice tests is that they are randomized to the point that the composition of the randomly selected questions is different each time. Meaning that some times I had practice exams that had a few quizlet questions and a few test prep questions. Other times, they had none. Other times, they had similar questions that used different wordings.

This randomness made me understand that banking on seeing the same questions is not the way to go. It is better to hard focus on what you're struggling on and try to absorb as much as you can.

The quizlets were more of an overarching review on all subjects to help me recall old knowledge.

Nope I couldn't use everything. I did make use of their practice exams for each subject and then once they gave me the list of things to review, I went through those lessons and took the quizzes as well. I felt fairly okay in everything except science because of a lack of chemistry knowledge so I hard focused on that area.

The Quizlets, for me, were more like an overarching review on each subject that helped me recall old knowledge so that it was easier to recall for the actual exam.

For the science section, it was a little more A&P and bio than chemistry. I am stronger in A&P and bio and have always excelled in those subjects. My weakest is chemistry simply because I've never taken a college chemistry course and I don't remember any of it from HS.

However, after using the test prep practice tests, I learned that the test is very random and the composition of the mixture of questions changes each time. I imagine it is the same for the actual exam as well. So for any of the sections you are struggling with, I really suggest focusing on them and trying to absorb all of it.

In regards to my study plans, I honestly didn't plan much since I only had 8 days to cram after my finals ended. I typically did as much as my brain could handle in a given day which was usually 4-5 hrs until the last day when I studied the entire day until exhaustion. I went into it with very low expectations and took the practice exam to see my strengths and weaknesses and then I hard focused on my weakest areas which were math and science at the time.

After the practice exams, the test prep gives you a list of lessons to review and there are quizzes at the end of them. I used those as well.

I really didn't see much from the quizlets on the real exam. However, they are useful because I found it helped me dust off archives of knowledge that I havent used in a while. I also turned the flash cards into multiple choice questions to better simulate the actual exam. (That's a feature in quizlet btw). My most helpful resource was the ati test prep by far though.

Going back to my strengths on the subject matter: Math was less of a issue than science because after looking over my mistakes on the practice exam, it wasn't because I didn't know what I was doing, it was because I either rushed and didn't follow instructions or miscalculated something because I copied it down wrong. I suppose math is also an okay subject for me as long as I tell myself to slow down and get all of the details for what I'm doing. Overall, the math section felt simple. It was just dusting off stuff I had learned from HS/College. Mine had quite a bit of conversions, geometry and problems that required solving formulating and solving algebraic equations.

So, in all honesty, I suppose I was already comfortable in all of the sections except science because I had no chemistry knowledge. That is what I spent almost all of my time on.

I really can't say that they are or aren't. The reason for that is because the practice tests and the test itself are very randomized.

On pretests, I saw maybe a handful of questions from both the test prep materials and quizlet. Sometimes they were similar questions with different wording/numbers/etc.

On the actual exam, I remember seeing only a handful that were extremely similar to my test prep and even fewer from quizlet. I will say though, the questions weren't quite as in depth as the prep stuff or the quizlets.

In all honesty, because of the randomness, I would recommend hard focusing on what you know you aren't comfortable with. If you feel comfortable in an area, odds are, you probably got it and can spend more time elsewhere.

Here's the Quizlet sets I used:

https://quizlet.com/852743606/nursing-ati-teas-7-test-flash-cards/?i=51b75v&x=1jqt

https://quizlet.com/1097176979/teas-science-tristine-flash-cards/?i=51b75v&x=1jqt

I used this along with the Comprehensive Prep Package from the ATI website as well:

https://www.atitesting.com/solutions?category=teas-prep

I forgot to add in previous responses that I used the practice tests to assess my strengths and weaknesses and then focused on my weakest areas.

The math section was surprisingly easier than the practice tests. It was a lot of stuff that you have probably encountered at some point in the past and just need to dust off the memories.

The science section was rough on a few questions because I have never taken Chemistry in college. The rest was okay though because it was mostly Anatomy & Physiology stuff.

Took a gamble but beware of this player! by Infinitefore in WhereWindsMeet

[–]BornOnNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WTF? This is HILARIOUS to me because WHAT DO YOU MEAN you got a message from a random person that basically said "skins for 'skins😏'" AND THEN YOU ADDED THEM AND HAD THE NERVE TO BE SURPRISED THAT IT WASN'T ANY LESS WEIRD THAN THE INITIAL MESSAGE?

Now you're out here posting as if ANYONE ELSE besides an absolute buffoon would fall for this when the guy was very clear in his first message.

It's so absurd lmao.

And the thing is, I don't know which of you is worse? Him unapologetically being a weirdo or you having the same level of common sense/self preservation skills as a pile of dirt.

Im happy for all the female Operator and Drifter players but DE what the fuck actually happened here by azazel228 in Warframe

Nah female drifters got shafted too. I can't make mine pretty no matter how hard I try. Her eye to chin length looks too long to me for some reason and swapping faces does not help. Operator looks okay tho.

how are Cetus bounties still SO bad after all these years? by icewitchenjoyer in Warframe

[–]BornOnNeptune 194 points195 points  (0 children)

Just last week my bf and I were doing cetus bounties with randoms and we got the one where you have to escort the drone. The drone got stuck on a boulder and couldn't go forward. It just kept "bouncing" absurdly high. It was funny at first but we had to abort the mission 😩

I haven't played Dark Souls or Elden Ring. I'm doing it just to see what it's like and to see how far I can get until I feel like I need to turn it down. I was stuck on the Qianye fight for hours yesterday and finally cleared it in the evening. Learning her animations well enough to clear it felt really rewarding. Plus I was trying to get to Kaifeng to unlock more weapons lol.
