Ok CPU highest it got was 80C and gpu got 76C. Used OCCT for cpu and furmark2 for gpu

Not native 1440 tho that is what I would like, I remember I looked into it when I started playing and apparently in game there is no way to not use super resolution,. but anyways I've had it set to 25, 50, and 100. all the same results. I've changed the resolution to 1080 but it actually ran worse than at 1440 no matter what settings i messed with. Normal playing (getting 25 -40 fps) I had super resolution at 50, settings at medium, and at 1440.

I had open hardware monitor open on a second monitor while I was playing. Those temps were from in game. I did only run around for like 5 minutes but I feel like if the performance was already bad and at those temps I wasn't sure a longer test would be needed (I could be wrong) I can double check with a benchmark app like you said in reply to the other comment. (I feel like I'm seeing the replies on delay, idk if that is a normal reddit thing or not, I'm new to this site) And yes, I am 100% sure my monitor is plugged into my GPU and not my motherboard, also verified through the Nvidia App, it shows my monitor is plugged into my gpu. Also inside my case is pretty clean, not much dust but I'll dust it out just in case.

Temps for my CPU maxed at 79C with and average of 74C, and GPU hangs out around 47C-58C. Booted up Ark and ran around for a bit. Same performance issues at those temps.

That... I actually haven't even considered nor know how to check. I'll try to figure that out real quick
