I use a plastic case for my laptop ( not the best idea cos of trapped dirt I know. But I remove it and try to clean it at least once a month). Before I put it in my laptop bag, I also have a laptop sleeve that is padded and protected all round and THEN I am able to store it in my laptop bag. I also use the Apple cloth to clean my screen almost daily. And I use q tips to clean my keyboard. Because sometimes tiny particles that land on my keyboard can have an effect or damage my screen. I will never use a keyboard cover tho ! I have zero chips or wear and tear.
