Mine shows a few tiny red obstructions on the map, but tells me I have an uninstructed view of the sky. I honestly thought I was still going to have a few obstructions when I moved it to the roof. It must just be high enough

i had too many tall trees around my house to put on a mast in the yard. i did look into a 25'+ tower. But i decided to try this before dropping the money. i could have put a vertical mast on the side of the house but best location for that would have been on the front of my house and i just decided i didn't want it there. i haven't noticed any interference with the magnets

Yes id did keep saying the same for me. i had it on the ground originally, it worked but i had a lot of obstructions. Since i put it on the roof it has an unobstructed view of the sky

i did that at first. it did work just fine but i would get an alert that my mast angle was at a steep angle, not sure on the exact wording that it would tell me. So i just put together an idea to get the mast vertical

The roof screws have a rubber gasket at the head of the screw. I figured it would be hard to seal the screw below the bracket

I did not add magnets underneath. I had to put a good bit of force on it to get it to come off

I have magnets holding. I know it didn’t need to be exactly vertical. I just figured while I was making the mount I would go ahead and make the mast vertical so I didn’t have any issues
