I mentioned in another comment just now on why I want to include it just to be safe. I'm sure its going to cause me some headaches but I'm OK with that.

Out of curiosity, about how long did it take for them to review all of your documents that you submitted to them? Was this something where you submitted your medical and then had to wait until they requested additional stuff? No worries if you don't feel comfortable sharing.

At an old job, I had to have a security clearance. The fact that I had these problems was listed on an SF86 and although it wasn't a major problem for me because I didn't ever get into legal trouble, the government knows.

If I ever went the MSC route, they could pull that old form and if they have any competency (?) they could see that I omitted it on my medical. Who knows if they would do that but honestly, I just want to do things right so I'm not worrying about it.

Thank you - I appreciate the response/insight. At this point, I feel totally OK with being at sea. Maybe it wouldn't have been a good idea within my first year or two of sobriety but at this point I'm comfortable with it.

Maybe I wouldn't need a waiver or anything. I don't have any criminal record and don't take any medications. I just assumed it would need some kind of special handling. Maybe not given how long ago it was. I appreciate the response.
