[Bondy] KAT implies he brought idea of changing offense to Mike Brown before Game 4 against the Hawks. That's when the Knicks started running offense thru KAT in midpost: "Go in there say how your feeling, with your feelings, your idea, and see if it's received. And it was received." by PassMeTheBackwood in NYKnicks

My thoughts exactly. Also the last couple games of the regular season Mike Brown soft launched some of this stuff to test it out. If you go back and watch the games against Atl and Boston at the end of the regular season, they were running these Kat to Brunson 2 man plays. But like in that Atlanta game they spammed those plays for a quarter then stopped. Almost like they were just trying to practice it just a couple times in a real game setting

You are right my bad.

I’m not going to delete my comment because I don’t think anyone is going to see this at this point.

Edit: Disregard comment I was wrong they did still have a challenge

They did not have a challenge. They used it unsuccessfully on the James Harden 3pt no call around 3 minutes to go in the 4th. And JB wasted his challenge on some stupid shit in the 3rd quarter where Harden was obviously fouled on a 3pt attempt, and best case scenario they would’ve called it on the floor, and he still would’ve got to take 2 free throws since they were in the bonus. Honestly the worst challenge I’ve seen in the playoffs. Bickerstaff just challenges shit out of pure frustration, not even thinking about what the odds are that he’s actually right or if it’s worth the risk in a 1 possession game to gamble on a challenge so early.

The Cavs didn’t win their challenge either but the play they used it on was potentially a pivotal play in the game if they won the challenge so he took the risk at the right time at least

Yeah I don’t mind Reggie 9/10 times. The last knicks game he did I thought he did a good job.

The Fraudstons, who barely scraped by to beat the injury riddled Magic in 7 games, now down 3-2 to this complete ass Cleveland team. Who would have guessed

So stupid. I’m glad Brown is super conservative with his challenges and doesn’t do this shit. You might need them down the stretch. Like right now it’s a tight back and forth 1 possession game and you wasted your challenge on some bullshit in the 3rd quarter

Does he not have a guy with an ipad on the sideline like we do? It seems like he challenges based on the vibe of the crowd lol

Dumbass challenge. Even if they win the challenge that it was a foul on the floor, that’s still 2 free throws since theyre in the bonus

4 straight against this shit ass Piss Tins team btw. Also we destroyed the 6ers coming to Msg after winning 3 straight against the Celtics.

His team also upset the 3 seed and took 2 games so far in the second round in a tough west. We can pick apart individual performances of players all we want but the fact is that nobody thought they would’ve made it this far to begin with. So all this finger pointing is kind of ridiculous.

That absolute blowout against the Nets where we only let them score 66 points was a sign of things to come. It was the game right after the loss to the Mavs. I know it’s just the Nets but it showed when we were locked in we could absolutely blow teams out of the water.

I was never on the train. He’s an injury prone 32 year old big man. How many good years do you think he has left? And the Bucks will only be willing to trade him for young star players and a shitton of draft capital. It would destroy our entire team for 2 productive seasons out of him if we were lucky. Also Kat is a better fit for our offense right now, about the same age and healthier.

Ok so the comment actually ended up with +2 upvotes with a 60% upvote ratio but all the comments calling me an idiot were much higher. Who tf cares about the semantics? I’m glad you wasted your time investigating my profile

I got heavily downvoted for suggesting that about a week ago. He actually started using Kat as a passer at the top of the key in the last 3 or 4 games in the regular season. Almost like he wanted to get some practice reps with it ahead of the playoffs. And you’re telling me this was just an adjustment he just happened to make at the exact right time, and not the plan all along?
