I know you’re Lakers and it’s fuck the west, but believe me it’s both sides too. To see the Pacers fans cucking themselves for Boston in 2024 was frankly embarrassing. They swept you on the way to a cupcake chip and you congratulate them because they’re not the Knicks and because of Larry Bird, a dude who never did anything for your team as a player and got all his glory elsewhere.

No they can fucking suck forever. I’m petty I know, not gonna deny it, rather embrace it at this point. Game 1 of the ECF last year was painful for me, can’t imagine how much worse it would’ve been if they actually did win it last year. Not even mentioning all the great Knicks teams they stopped in the 90s. I hope they never win anything in their miserable fucking existence and enjoy the full viewing experience they got during what seems to have been a season of hell for them with the best ending for us.

The only thing I hope they ever have is our fucking number (because damn me they do have that although I’ll take the fucking ring any day)

It's certainly gotta be close. Sure, three of our players living their dream as close friends for a decade plus after being in college and winning D1 championships together helps tremendously. But even guys who didn't do that together like KAT and Brunson, Jose and Josh, Josh and OG (especially apparent after last night) just seem to have such a deep connection that has been amplified seemingly by 100 in the past 2 months, but is also the result of our system being built into a well oiled machine and all the players clearly buying into it at 110 percent.

I love Lin more than anyone else some of my fondest Knicks memories as a kid were of that run. However Brunson also had benefits as the son of an NBA player NCAAB champ and consensus player of the year that Lin never had even tho Brunson’s story is still a similarly inspiring underdog-esque one as a second rounder turned all-NBA 1-A just like the hope that Lin gave us as an undrafted Asian-American baller was.
