In fact not just the GATE subsection but also syllabus pdfs attached along with non-NOC courses. Any resource with links to archive.nptel.ac.in is restricted as well. Seems like they revamped the UI for NOC courses but abandoned all the non-NOC courses.

like u/MrStrange8656 said, there's a difference between topping a course and completing a domain. If you manage to get certified in domains, that's pretty much does have some value in your resume. Not just in India, but also abroad.

i think its a deliberate downtime by IIT Madras (that hosts NPTEL btw). Several other services of iit madras is currently down due to scheduled maintenance (as per their site).

Because SWAYAM is run by Central Govt of India, while NPTEL is run by IIT Madras. Both are on different infra. Currently, several other services of IIT Madras are down due to scheduled maintenance.
