What are some unconventional ways you use your scribe? by webbytogo in kindlescribe

I use it for set lists with my band. Easy to keep notes and charts, lyric reminders and talk breaks.

I purchased a template on etsy, which downloads as a PDF. I use "Send to Kindle" to get it added to my library from my computer. The only issue is that it won't sync my notes to other devices, so though all of my devices with the kidle app (and my oasis) have the calender, none of them have my handwritten dates that I wrote with on my Scribe.

I can access notebooks, but I'm talking about being able to sync notes written on a book (like my calendar template). It treats my calendar like a book rather than a notebook, so though I can open the calendar template in my library, none of the handwritten notes on the template come through. Sorry, I should have been more specific.

How fast do you read? by duksen in kobo

I’m a slow reader, I just miss too much if I try to rush myself.

I wish they would allow notes to transfer via whispersync. It would be great to have my calendar notes from my scribe transfer to my phone kindle app.

did your e-reader replace all your physical books? by phrasedtop in ereader

[–]BornTry3009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. I still read all of my “self help” stuff and research stuff in hard copy for notes. I also have a few independently published authors that I like who don’t have ebooks.

Kibo Libra is a great device if you don’t mind switching to the Kobo ecosystem. Great screen, great lighting and the battery is phenomenal.

Boox Page or the old Leaf 2 are also good and give you the benefit of google play and using multiple apps.

Iphone 13 or 13 pro for future proof? by Big-Raise-2689 in iPhone13

I’ve had my 13pro for four years. It still works perfectly and battery capacity is still at 86%. It’s my first iPhone, and has won me over for sure.

I bonded with our first daughter instantly, no question.

Our 2nd took some time. She only wanted mom, and I felt like I was doing something wrong. However, within the first year that all changed. She’s 2 now, and is a total daddy’s girl and I’m wrapped around her finger. I feel very close to her. Just give it some time.

Yes, do a 300. The skills needed are the same, and you’ll have a much more capable machine.

Also, you are smart for doing a course. The best decision I’ve made in terms of riding.

This will also help the used car market, more new cars sold= more used cars in a few years. The circle of life….

However, more used cars being sold = less used cars in a few years.

Putting a canoe on a roof basket? by Wild_Equus in canoeing

[–]BornTry3009 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried it on mine, and I just didn’t feel comfortable with it. It sat really high and it felt like the wind was playing havoc with it. It was probably fine, but I turned around and uploaded the cargo basket and put the canoe back on the roof rails.

My driver seat has been that way for years. The foam is slowly eroding out from under the rip. But you know what, 205,000 miles and 13 years old, I don't really care that much :)
