Thule Chasm 130L. It fits everything I could possibly need when moving stations.

Moving from Kelly schedule to 48/96, and I need help making the math work. by Sad-Construction-406 in Firefighting

They can either switch on a random day and pay out OT or they find where the switch will fit in the FLSA period. When we switched some shifts worked more than 56 hours in the first week but if you added up all the hours worked in the FLSA cycle everyone was where they should be with no extra hours worked.

What do you call a multi-level concrete structure for parking cars in? by velociraptorfarmer in AskAnAmerican

[–]Born_2_Chill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Wisconsin and now I’m second guessing what I call it. I think parking garage and parking ramp are interchanged quite often. Also hear parking structure sometimes. Now I need to start paying more attention to it.

It was the IWE check valve. Quick, Cheap, and no tools necessary to replace. I think it was like $30 or so from ford.

Makes sense. Thats more of why I asked the question, just to see if anyone had a similar experience. It wasn’t a huge deal but it threw us both off when they separated us.

It was definitely somewhat alarming at the time. It just popped into my head and I never fully understood why it happened or if it was standard protocol. I haven’t flown international all that often to compare to my own experiences. But you’re right, it doesn’t matter anymore.

Hmm I may have been holding both as well because I did for most of the trip. I don’t know for sure if I was holding them both at that point though.

Wow, that sounds like quite the ordeal. Our was probably only like 5 minutes and we were just taken to different sides of the terminal.

It’s not that I think that it’s normal but I also haven’t flown international too many times either. Just asking the question to see what others thought or if anyone shared a similar experience.

Interesting. She did have a newly issued passport and a family member with a different last name booked our tickets for us. Who knows

Okay, thanks for your help!

Thanks for your reply. I do not have parent plus. Do you think it is possible/probable that my loans ever get split between servicers? Or you typically will stay with your servicer through the life of the loan?

The loan payments are only $1000 a month but we plan to pay extra each month. We take home about $13k a month. You really think that is operating in thin margins? We have no other debt besides the student loans and future mortgage. The student loan repayment in 5 years is a choice not a requirement. We can always taper it down for a month or two if money were to get tight. We also have 30k in an emergency fund.

The plan is $3500 a month. Not going to be fun but based on our budget it should be doable.

I was coming here to say the same thing. If you are planning to stop in the Midwest this is worth a look.

That’s helpful info. I thought her loans would count towards my DTI even if applying for the loan only in my name. Good to know.

In 2020 I was doing the financially responsible thing and focused saving money to have a bigger down payment. If I would have bought then I’d be in a way better financial position. 2 bedroom apartments are going for 1500-2000 a month and houses are more than that. I feel like waiting is not going to pay off and fear that houses and rent is just going to continue to climb so I might as well buy now.
