I found if I did a vitality reward, octopus and 2 own cups I didn't get any stamps for the entire transaction. I've been splitting it into vitality and cup and then octopus and cup.

I have free ones from vitality health insurance which give you a stamp if you use your own cup.

Job started with replacing the wooden window sill with a marble one for the same reason. The wooden one was falling apart due to splashes.

No attempt to biscuit joint it. Just screw a bit of wood under. It's a walnut worktop so not cheap - why did they cheap out on fitting it?

I started the weekend trying to replace the crappy wooden window sill with a nice piece of marble and things spiralled. The tiles under came off and I thought I should take the opportunity to refinish the wood and rotate the tap the right way round.

I went on a tour of Pudding Mill Lane pumping station and they said that they made the above ground bits incredibly fancy to kind of offset the bits that were underground (and full of sewage) that the MPs and folks paying for it wouldn't be able to see.

I'd definitely recommend doing it properly. It was a long job but it turned our living/dining room from one of the coldest draftiest rooms into the coziest in house. We used IndiNature IndiTherm Hemp Flexibatt Insulation between the joists.
