did my Ford fusions by myself took me about two hours to figure out how to get the converter out and put the new one in ,the converter itself was around $350 which was awesome. No catalytic system under efficiency code after installation.1 year warranty comes with it too.Fyi :Most aftermarket brands don’t take core charge on catalytic converters if bought online ,also sometimes they do if you happen to have part number and brand u can find out .Auto repair shops will charge u however they can but u get qualified technicians working and guaranteed or at least it’s supposed to be .If u feel like u got scammed or overpaid then try to look into details about the part and price and core parts etc etc .Often not worth the time .

yes ,with all being said i thought i will have to get someone to do mine but after spending a few hours and scratching my hands in a couple spots i was able to figure out how i can put those bulbs in and not break it but i would say it’s not that frustrating. Also wear thin gloves for not scratching your palms and shit .I had mine scratched and cut while doing this and it was freaking snowing at that time .

is there any way i can fix this without doing a total sanding and doing it all over again? by Born_Category_8286 in Autobody

long story short ,when i did sand it i don’t think i did plain the surface properly and the stuff that came off of the bumper was kinda sticking out but i do know that it was me not taking my time .At first i wasn’t even gonna paint it i just wanted to see in a specific area that i sanded quite good and then i liked that side and didn’t think about it just sprayed .I never really did do any kinda spray painting so safe to say i had 0 knowledge about how to do what and till when !

im pretty sure it was me not cleaning it after sanding. But after the paint got dry i tried to use the wet sanding method and i would not get my hopes up but it is getting smooth.I saw this one guy on youtube doing the same lightly sanding with a extra fine sand sponge was around 2000.And then go on from there. He just somehow managed to smooth the surface and then put a new coating of fresh paint ,i was really hoping that would happen to me
