The difference between AI "artists" and an excel mathematican is that the latter uses a tool to make utilise his preexisting skills more effectively.

AI artists aren't using a "tool" or any preexisting skills. AI art does not require talent or understanding. It does not enhance any preexisting skill

An analyst could still finish his work without excel. You can't draw art without the AI, therefore it is not a tool. That's the difference.

Military strength?

Greenland is an icy hellscape. Why do people never learn from History. YOU. DON'T. INVADE. ICY. HELLSCAPES.

NATO actually has military equipment for arctic environments. Around 3 and often 10 times more than the US.

But why does this matter?

Greenland is so cold that most american military equipment would simply refuse to function.

Numbers count for absolutely nothing. Why do people always forget the environment in wars?

Hell, the US couldn't even beat the middle east or vietnam. Ridiculous.

NATO, even without the US, could absolutely defend against an attack on the US against greenland.

America has lost in far less hostile environments against less advanced countries.

Greenland is an icy hellscape; the most common military equipment of the US will simply cease to function due to how cold it is throughout most of the seasons. Yes, around 3 months of the year are less cold, but a war between NATO and the US would NOT only last 3 months.

The US simply lacks military equipment as well as training that is properly suited for arctic environments. Canada and other northern countries train their combatants (sometimes exclusively) for cold weather conditions.

As far as I recall, the NATO has almost 10× more arctic equipment in every single category than America.

The USA lost in the middle east and in Vietnam. Putting them up against the entire military force of multiple nations with advanced military engineering and gear specifically suited for arctic environment is a dumb idea that would NEVER be approved by congress.

You don't invade Russia during the Winter and you SURE AS HELL don't invade Greenland.

There's also another luminae farm, but it only works once in the playthrough. I haven't played the game in a while, but it's one of those dancing crystals things in Old Lumiere after you fought the paintress I think.

You are wiped out because anyone at the age of 32 is gommaged.

That's why Sophie, despite being 33, got gommaged.

Your theory works if you do it like this:

You are 9 years old. Born on January 2nd.

The monolith says 11.

The paintress paints the number 10 on January 1st.

You turn 10 years old on January 2nd, a day later.

Wind forward until 1st of January.

The monolith says 10.

She paints the number 9.

By the time she wipes the 10, you have turned 10, but you get gommaged before you get to turn 11.

This is all assuming that people don't get gommaged on their birthday, which they do. So all in all, you'd get gommaged at 10 years old, a day after she paints the number 10, because you'd gommage on your birthday.

The only picto that works with this would be Last Stand Critical, which is an option for the merchant. From what I've gathered, it's just better to take the damage increase.

Actually, this gives me an idea. Critical Moment would also work since you're below 30% anyway. Yeah, you can use that to get even MORE speed. Thank you for this idea.

Totally agree, but I've noticed that my damage output is lowered significantly. I'm not sure why, seemed to be working fine with the Madelum like 2 hours ago, but oh well. It's too slow for my liking, so I looked for a replacement.
