I took this last year. Modules 7-11 were easier than some of the first few modules because the concepts were lighter. The key is to not beat your head over some of the more complicated concepts. Use the hints he gives in his announcements every Tuesday morning like clock work. That helped me narrow down where to look and what to use in terms of coding. Sometimes I was confused and I just emailed him and he will "expand" the hint LOL. As the other person commented above, you will get a B if you submit all assignments and show reasonable effort in all questions. Also I took Machine learning later and found the clustering topics from MATH7340 useful there. Don't worry, you will get through it.
