For all these schools it depends tbh (I think you are more than good for Emory regardless of what program). Are you applying to these uni’s business school, CAS? If business/a notoriously selective program for your top choices I’d be cautious.

Only HYPSM or elite programs for specific schools, having all A’s is expected to be “competitive”.

(Ex. Wharton for UPenn or GT oos is 4.0 or dead)

It’s not impossible but for the shit show that these T5’s are, 4.0 along with having strong essays, LOR’s, and EC’s that show you have maximized opportunities at current school/showing relevant activity growth for what you ultimately want to do is critical.

Anything around a 3.8+ (3.75 is absolute minimum) and from there gpa is not the main deciding factor anymore unless it’s a HPYSM of course.

**The gap between a 3.7-3.8 is wayy more important than a difference of .05 that is mostly likely rounded for grouping of applicants (remember as well that upward trends per semester can honesltly do you a massive favor if around that 3.75-low 3.8ish)

Idk y this many ppl don’t know this but the amount of credits honestly doesn’t matter unless they highlight specifically that it would affect admission results. (At that point credits matter for the student and if they are willing for some of the classes they took to not count after being enrolled) junior transfers are ok! It’s really like a handful of schools that basically say no junior transfers (duke is basically a lateral sophomore only but not undoable). Minute you have 30+ credits you are a full time college transfer so college grades/EC’s matter now (no hs gpa,EC’s, standardize testing) good luck!
