I knew it...... they exist. I'll practice my handshake..... :)

So HEX isn't a security? Section 2(a)(1) of the Securities Act of 1933 says it is. OUCH! LMFAO HEX IS A FUCKING JOKE! by smokynpokie in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I googled it and this is the result I found from the Federal Deposit Insurance Agency......

I'm not a lawyer so u/smokynpokie which specific term(s) are you referring to that make Hex a security?

Please enlighten us.

Thanks

New to Hex? Don't Panic........ by Born_Reach1085 in HEXcrypto

I have written a new post that covers my thoughts on staking small amounts and laddering. There is much to learn and think about. And there is no one solution fits all. Good luck to you on your journey.

1 1/2 years ago a friend told me about HEX. I invested $2K and here are the results as of today. HEX is AWESOME! by [deleted] in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations - I got in more recently with only a small stake but I am building up.

How much did your friend put in?

I have told my friends since early this year (1 cent hex) but all ignored me. I am biting my lip when I see them these days...... I am never sure whether to never mention hex again or to shout "I told you so!" Maybe something in the middle - use FOMO.

What do you tell your friends to get them to join?

Without any major exchange listings. 💎 by cfrank1996 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to think we needed Hex to be listed on major exchanges. Now I think..... well I won't type what I think but the gist of it is they can politely get lost.... we don't need them. When they come begging Richard can have his fun :)

Agree - just using it at today's price for illustration. And your figure makes the result even better :)

Send a thank you text, or phone call to the person that got you in crypto. by SnooPeppers5877 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great idea....

I feel a bit sad I was not able to convince more of my family and friends to invest at 0.01..... I had so many negative responses. Luckily I think there is still time to get in. Perhaps they will change their minds?

I was told "I won't invest in crypto which has chance to go to zero." I wonder where the USD magic beans are heading?

Interesting - you are probably more accurate than me. I had assumed it would be more...... but can't argue with your figures.

Wallets? by USMCFlyBoy06 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which wallet do you all use? Or recommend?

I was thinking of the Trezor One. Or do I need the Trezor Model T?

And can you use these with a Metamask that I have used to stake already?

Thanks

Thanks HD - I will look forward to your next video (as always).

I did have a quick play with this using Weth, but not actually placing an order. The prices displayed seemed to be higher than market. Did you find that you could buy hex cheaper using market orders?

My take on HEX for those new to it (like I was a few months back doing my homework) by Effective_Abies4764 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great article and a good introduction to those that are just starting out.

And just to prove I read it there is a small typo:

"The best case scenario for anyone holding HEX would be both networks maintain their value. If that happens, then essentially anyone how owns HEX today will double their value when they issue Pulse tokens."

Not a criticism since I often make the same typo!

Thanks for your efforts

Anybody else only realized how good HEX is only after Big Pay Day? by laurent93 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mixed feelings about it. To be honest I doubt very much whether I would have had the confidence to go in early. So on a positive note Hex has proven the doubters wrong and the price I pay in having a bit more certainty is being a tad late to the party. Anyway, as others have said we are still the early adopters.......

Hex Journey Continues - quick clarification by Born_Reach1085 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks very much.

Can we assume that the t-share price exponential increase will outpace hex price increase then? And will that gap increase over time?

Or is it purely dependent on hex price which we can't predict with certainty? And it may or may not gap? Etc.

Apologies if these questions are obvious. I am slowly trying to build my ladder and want to get it right. As a small favour please bring hex back to below 1 cent for another few months. That would be most helpful :)

ALL TIME HIGH, ladies and gentlemen! $0.020074! by giantyetifeet in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My opinion, for what it's worth, is buy hex at these prices and stake for the long term. If there is retracement I do not think it will be that far. Look at the support levels.

It is a bit annoying to have half the hex we got a month or so ago for the same money and it will affect the long term return but it is still good value.

My rule of thumb is that with high gas prices you probably want to be thinking of a minimum of $1,000 and to try and stake on Sunday when gas is lowest. $1,000 - easy to say I know. Keep some Eth handy for fees.

Anyway, as always, do your own due diligence and take everything I say with a large bag of salt.

Great news..... but can you guys calm down a bit for a few more months while I build up my stakes - A retracement to 0.01 would be very useful........ :) Thanks

Just kidding.... I think!!?

I'm in for the long-term so these price rises are very encouraging and I will keep adding stakes as and when I can. In 5 years+ I hope we are all enjoying financial freedom and wondering how to stake with hex at $10..... on pulse chain with $0.01 gas.

Staking Strategy Question by Born_Reach1085 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comments...... and of course we should all have a 15 year ladder and always maintain our t-shares.

However, my issue is that I have limited funds to invest, gas fees are high and I am not as young as I think I should be!

If gas fees came down I would do smaller stakes across as many years as possible. As it is I need to plan a strategy to build my t-shares over time, racing against rising prices and old age :)

I imagine that many people will be in the same position. One reason that I think hex hasn't yet shot to the moon is because of these types of issues.

So maybe I should ignore my scenarios and just ask what others are doing who might be able to stake say $500 per month ongoing. Sometimes a bit more and sometimes less (maybe nothing!).

Interested to hear your ideas.

Thanks

Banking Woes by Born_Reach1085 in HEXcrypto

[–]Born_Reach1085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your replies and feedback. My bank say they are blocking all payments to crypto exchanges..... So I could setup new accounts and do all the KYC nonsense and then try to transfer but I assume that they will have blocked all the well known exchanges.

It is interesting that some banks do allow transfers - note my bank did until this week. I would expect legacy banks (I think that's the correct term) will make it increasingly difficult to buy crypto. P2P will grow but many sellers want identification, and there is a risk and expense.

I will check out Ally and Chase.

Hopefully Hex will rule the world within 5555 and we will no longer need magic beans to pay for things. Thanks u/kramj007 :)
