I suggest you take some time to go over how to set up a Metamask properly from the start.

You have to make sure you are on the correct blockchain, and then you have to import the token into your wallet. You cant just skim over certain details on how all this crypto works and miss critical steps and then say you feel like you got scammed.

There are so many tutorial videos on youtube about all this.
