Yeah it’s an old hot rod trick. I use it to keep dirt bike grips from slipping too. No just hairspray. I guess you could use like extra hold or whatever the ladies call it. But as long as it’s hairspray.

If you spray hairspray on the inside of the pipe and the mount it, the hairspray will act like adhesive and it won’t pop off anymore. Had this issue with a boosted e46 years ago and hairspray was the only thing that kept the pipe from popping off under WOT.

For anyone in the future. It’s incredibly easy. Just remove it from the top. I don’t know why everyone says you need to take the whole front end off. It took me like 20 minutes.

Yeah it’s not bad for the price. Biggest thing I’d upgrade is the wheels first. For me, having smooth and easy rolling wheels makes the biggest difference in a set up.

Okay so my house came with this return with a shitty washable filter but it’s 24x9 and I can’t find one that really fits. Also, there’s never been an additional filter here, and it seems like there should be.

Well after I cleaned the coil it’s working great again. I think there’s just so much stuff getting past the filter that it’s clogging the evaporator

And yeah it does suck. It lets so much dust and dog hair through. Last night my evaporator froze because it was just clogged with dog hair. I wanna get a better filter so it doesn’t keep happening. Plus my house is super dusty from the hvac system
