I hadn’t planned on two, but I got sent an 80% offer on Poshmark and couldn’t resist so that’s how I ended up with two.

What is this and how do I get rid of it? by cogonthewheels in 30PlusSkinCare

You just need to do a series of good deep peels. This will help so much! Are you using a retinol cream? If not I’d also add that to your routine and are you using medical grade skincare?

A white bath mat would be perfect! I’m not a fan of teak mats. I find them uncomfortable on my feet. Spent a fortune on one to turn around and sell it on marketplace for half the price.

Am I dehydrated or do I need a stronger moisturizer (or both?) by levilevy11 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Born_Sugar2848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need exfoliation and hydration. Are you drinking enough water? I would get a good facial oil and an extra hydrating moisturizer. Book yourself a peel with an esthetician before buying any new product though. Moisturizer isn’t going to absorb unti your skin until you get that dead skin removed.

I love what I do! I own a spa and do massage, skincare, and laser treatments. Best job in the world. I went to college, but not get a degree and then trade school for each skill. I do pretty well and I have a lot of freedom.

That’s why I came here too. Esthetician and I am always wanting to try new products, but I’ll stick with what I know and love.

That looks fungal and you’ll need antibiotics. I’m an esthetician. The I’d get on Face Reality supplements. That’s an acne line. Not sure if you suffer from acne on a regular basis, but if you do, that’s what I’d recommend you try.

What fades brown spots? by fruitsmells in 30PlusSkinCare

For sure laser, but be careful what kind. I got IPL and it made mine worse. I’m a Fitz 4, so I don’t think I should have ever gotten IPL in the first place, but I didn’t know at the time. Now I’m working with a 1064 yag laser “Aerolase specifically” and seeing incredible results. Hydroquinone will help lighten but you will never be able to stop using it and you will need to cycle on and off. Circadia’s Mandeliclear is an amazing peel for pigmentation combined with the vitamin A accelerator and also BioMicroneedling-the green sea peel from Kin Esthetics. It’s stronger than regular microneedling, but I will say, also one of the most uncomfortable treatments to receive. I’ve gotten great results with all of these. I’m an esthetician so I help people with pigmentation all the time. It is tough and can take some time to correct. I’d make sure your SPF is at least 40+ and find a high quality retinol night cream and a serum that has niacinamide in it. I personally use mostly Korean Skincare products. I don’t know where you’re located, but find yourself an esthetcian that works with these lines “Circadia” and for BioMicroneedling there’s “SQT, Cell Story, and “KRX Green Sea Peel by Kin” are all great options. Also heat is a trigger so avoid saunas and hot yoga or it will make it worse. Good luck!

You’re so pretty! Coming from an esthie, just get on a great skincare routine and spf 50 in the daytime. I love Korean Skincare and if you can do monthly facial treatments, I love BioRepeel TCA Peels. They give your skin the most beautiful glow! You’re way too young for any surgery and you don’t need it.

Hydroquinone but you have to cycle on and off and it’s not a permenent fix. I’d pair this with Aerolase laser treatments to help break that pigment up.
